I feel like the only buff Lokhir could use is to have his regen item be constant like how it use to be when he first came out. kind of weird how other characters such as Sigvald's armor is constant regen and his helm he has to be in combat for.
he doesn't really need buffs, it's just the caster lords need nerfed and rhe rest of the dark elves costs reduced since they are HARD propped up by the Lords a lot of the time (bit like chorfs)
I thought the Tomb kings skeletal warriors capture weight was lore friendly, I think they are supposed to be sentient so they are more capable than vampire counts chaff - The reason they can use bows too!
eh, they're supposed to be *marginally* more sentient than vampire counts skeletons, which are *literally* puppets. Basically, the generally better preserved (physically and spiritually/supernaturally) that you were the more of your mind and self you retained upon being raised, skeleton archers and warriors were just the lowly commoners and thus weren't well preserved, so there's not much left beyond some basic ability.
I think in this matchup, I think I'd just take a page out of Arkhan's book and just get a death caster on a horse and life leech the enemy caster. The undead with a dead lord is an army that basically kills itself, if they get 15-20% you put the furies out to stop the unsummon.
Hey Turin! Didn't you use to cast with a spectator mod that showed the value each side has on the field? Given how buggy the damage value tracker has been lately, I feel like that's a better way to represent who is trading better.
The fact that malekith had to carry the DEs for them to be relevant (dom, I dont play land battles) should suggest that maybe DEs need a little rework, at least some cost changes. And it takes 3 bolt throwers to do enough dmg to be noticeable. God those things are trash. In my humble opinion
its not really that bad, compared to say the dawi and greenskins who really only have one lord-choice. and while I also admit the sorceress is better, I find using foot Lokir and a caster far more fun and it does the job well enough
like dark elves havent reigned supreme for a while but ive never felt that they've been irrelevant either + their roster is still super flexible only thing i'd get changed is a slight buff to the hydras and maybe the medusa units
@@renzbolado153meh I dunno. On paper they look great. But they are quite predictable. Only viable armor piercing is the missiles, that are outranged by many other ranged units, outside of executioners, which no one uses for obv reasons. Cav is ok but nothing amazing and easily get put down by ranged or other cav (empire knights for example). And the monsters such as hydra and Medusa are only brought as a meme. Anyway, several factions need some looks, but I think the DEs are so cool on paper, just wish they had a bit more teeth to get bumped into the competitive group of factions.
Ive always felt that the dark elf "dodge" save should be a ward save not a phys resist - would make units like sisters/wyches more attractive - and it never made sense to me that you can't "dodge" a magic sword?
