It's fascinating that the uneducated have such a profound and qualified insight into the benefit or lack of benefit of education and very often conclude that people that by definition know more (educated people) than they (uneducated people) do, are most often the least knowledgeable people to have made their acquaintance. If that were true, it would have to be true that the more you learn and teach your brain how to think throughout your education, the resulting outcome is knowing less and being less able to think. Profound.

I’m a Union Electrician that worked on Commercial and Industrial Projects and you better know math. Couple of the requirements in order to get into the Apprenticeship you had to have a High School Diploma and have one year of Algebra. Pipe Fitters, Plumbers, Sheet Metal and Carpenters all have to know math. You should know Algebra, Fractions, Decimals and Geometry and being able to read a tape measure. I know from experience there are people who don’t even know how to read a rule.

A group of psychologists have shown that there are some types of mental illness with components to them that make them infectious like a virus, but transmission is achieved by listening and observing the originator of the illness. Canadian here, I live in Victoria, British Columbia. We get American tourists all summer. They, well many, are so dumb... A friend was asked "what state is this?" She said "We don't have states in Canada, this is the province of British Columbia." The American replied, louder, "Yes I know, BUT WHAT STATE IS THIS???" 😅😅😅 Another friend of mine worked at a flag shop. An American woman came in, looked around the store and finally pointed to a flag, "I want that, but in yellow". If was our Canadian flag...🇨🇦 🙄 These are true stories. Home schooling is fabulous. Uneducated parents teaching their children. How are they going to be able to teach Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, Analytics, Chemistry, Physics, Geography, History and many more. The future of our Country isn’t looking to good.
