I have a Bernina and the stitches have numbers not names so I do not know what an entradaux stitch looks like. Could you show a picture of what the stitch icon looks like on your machine so I can find that stitch on my machine please?
Jeanne, what would you use a spring needle for? My old machine came with a wing, a drill and a spring needle all of which have been sitting for 40 years. Now I know what to do with the wing, but the others......
Janet, a spring needle is used for thread painting on your machine and is used without a foot. The drilling needle is a series of 3 needle on one shaft. It's very similar to a twin needle only you would be stitching with 3 strands of upper thread vs. a single strand.
I want to use a hemstitch to make an oval frame around a large monogram. I am concerned that the two layers (fabric and stabilize) may shift. Can I use a light application of spray adhesive between the fabric and the stabilizer? I hope with a little practice I can do this! Thank you for the video!
+mary bennett I am using a Brother Quattro 6000D. If you look at your decorative stitches on your Baby Lock you should find stitches that say "hemstitching". Try looking in your manual to see if you can locate them. You might check under Heirloom Stitches.
