My go-to keyword for the magician is definitely "manipulation". Historically and etymologically it just meant "to work an object/material skillfully with your hands", without any obvious negative aspects, which for me brings up all the associations of using what's already here to make something new, through creativity and skill. But in the way we use it today, there is obviously also the meaning of influencing someone/something for your own gain. I just think this bridges the Marseille and RWS traditions really neatly! And I like that it kind of inherently calls into question the ethics when it comes to exerting your will.
