this is why the Filipinos are so strong pool players you got a fade playing in the shed in the backyard you got a fade the peanut " spectators" gallery by dozens watching around the table and making noise and moving around while you shoot, you got to fade the Heat of the Philippines and the humidity and you got to fade the damn rooster clucking in the background while you're down on your shot that's why the Filipinos are strong as shit at pool. And this is come from a player in Texas!!!! "Fade means to deal with that's what I'm talking about when I say fade"

Unscarred thanks on clarifying that for people I thought that was a given people knew what have to fade is. especially in the pool world. well its a term used in the usa in the pool room in Ft.Worth Texas especially where I grew up.

The local players has enormous advantage on their 'sub standard' pool tables. They knew where the problem areas of the table especially some section of the cushions that has abnormalities. So when Efren or other celebrity players comes to town...they'll gave them handicap. In this case...Efren wins on 9 ball instead of the 10. Not really much of an advantage for Efren since if you can make the 9 ball...most likely, you'll already have good chance of getting the 10 ball anyway.

Look at 10:20 where Efren played vs Jericho Banares. The match was race-to-23, but Efren was given 9 & 10-ball handicap plus one win (as displayed on the whiteboard). Also on that particular time, score was 4-12 in favor of Jericho. Does that mean that this Jericho is better than Efren now, or was Jericho "hustled" by Efren? Just asking.......

@@joeyq1497 i dont think so... Efren nowadays playing in local community,, which is he knew himself that he is better than those... But for efren he dont play for money (yes money is involved, but thats not his priority) he played to scout another young one to compete around the world...
