Hi man, I'm torn between the 29 or 279, coming from a 27.5 set up, been keen to give 29 a go for the extra rolling speed and roll over, but the agility of the 27.5 wheels is fun. How do you find the mullet rides compared to the 29, not just downhill, but up and over. I'm same kinda height as you, so no need for the smaller wheel for clearance really, would be more for fun and agility. Is the 29 still playful? Cheers

I’ve got the last 290crs sommet size large from CRC. Do you know if i can put a 297 rear triangle on the back to basically make it a 297? I know shock has 2.5mm stock difference. Is it the same front end? Cheers
I have a YT capra 29er and it has a flip chip. Do you think I should mullet that if I wanna try the mullet setup or is there a big benefit to buying a mullet specific made bike?
@@wolfpack_adventures How did you like the mullet set up on the 29 with the flip chip? I really like the idea of the 440mm chainstay on the 29 model with a 27.5" rear wheel. How did the BB height work out for you?
