I have a theory that Maximus was actually a legion slave, and that's why he wants revenge so badly also hence the name "Maximus" which is both Roman and possibly sounds a bit like a classic brotherhood name. I think a lot of his ideas come from disagreeing with ceasar, it is possible that the brotherhood discover the legion and then choose to step up in order to stop them.

Everything with the BoS gives me pause

The BoS doesn't want to kill normal ghouls. Where do people get this idea? In 3 the BoS took pot shots at the ghouls in underworld because they were next to a literal warzone. In 4 they to out and kill ferals. thats it.

Given that one of the main theories surrounding the show is that the Republic has dissolved or is severely weakened after the events of New Vegas (the game explains the problem they're facing and how it could result in their collapse), one line that was in the new clip shown during that talk show with Walton was interesting to me. The Ghoul says that "The 5 Agencies" are looking for the doctor and as far I'm aware, New California Republic has 5 states (well, 7 depending if Maxson is still under their jurisdiction but that's BoS territory and New Vegas if they won the war, which is unlikely) those being Shady, The Hub, Dayglow, LA, and Redding. So, one possibility is that with the collapse of the republic, the 5 states gained independence and went back to their old ways. But I'm probably reading too much into it 🙃

I would love to see some references to Courier 6 in the show. Preferably one where the Courier is an enemy of the NCR.

I’m really worried about the lore in general. The use of the scribe rank for an adult and the shot in the trailer of a blown up shady sands have me worried. I’m sure story wise it will be good, and I also enjoy that the world looks accurate.

The brotherhood armor STILL doesn't look like it's powered. The joints are not connected . It looks more like the knights of old, in their metal armor.

I want second seasons, if possible, antagonist or duatagnist to be a BOS Outpost leader who formerly a Raider Warlord that once led its army against Shady Sands first years into the NCR. Manipulating BOS member into a Raider lifestyle slowly and causing a BOS civil war to confuse the NCR to hate the BOS and canonize the F:NV storyline. The Raider Warlord is hitting 50 and was hired by the BOS when their numbers were low when dealing with the wastelands wildlife, so he was hired at 28 or 30. We all know first season is just a taste test like opening a restaurant or diner. The customers are the priority, but the meals aren't perfect.

I am trying to stay grounded. I am just hoping they don't screw it up. Some changes are likely but we will see. The series could be great. But I have been disappointed so many times. As long as they avoid the "Girl Boss" BS or the "Somehow she is an expert even with things she has never used" bs...the show has a chance.

I'm leaning towards Cooper Howard did make it to a vault and his ghoulification is due to a Vault-Tec experiment/incompetence or both. The show creators did say he was unique among ghouls and the Ma June line about his kind not being welcome indicates that ghouls are shunned and discriminated against but not assumed to be feral, so not being feral is not what makes the Ghoul unique. She says that line before he says he's bounty hunter so it's unlikely she meant "bounty hunter" when she says his "kind ain't welcome here".

I really hope this show is good and gets covered here but also that this channels content doesn't become focused on reviewing the show or discussing each episode. I've seen tons of other channels start out with one type of content in a fan community and then end up pivoting towards "influencer" status when the next big thing happens to that fandom. I'm not going to unsubscribe, but I'm here for the lore nerd stuff more than the Hollywood stuff.

I'm intrigued. I'm glad it's canon but setting it in the West ESPECIALLY a place we have played in twice and was mentioned in NV isn't something I like. I don't want them canonising anything from NV. Also hoping for no lore breaks atleast not egregious ones but still. Don't think it'll be anywhere near Halo but should be a fun watch
