@@stephenmclaine1166 that’s what I thought but on another clip from this same podcast he talked about how his mom and girlfriend (maybe wife?) said they loved it when he had it and missed it, so he got it again
Not according to Lee... When Lee was banned by the IFBB over BS, Lee said that Jay wouldn't talk to him saying essentially that as MrO, he didn't want to be seen talking to a banned athlete. I suppose that could have been said respectfully, and it might be understandable, but Lee didn't take it very well...
No bro not true! when Lee got banned by the IFBB jay completely ignored Lee in the gym...stating he can't be seen talking to a disqualified pro! absolute disgrace from jay. Lee mentioned this several times over the years.
@@seanmcdaid2250 Jay was concerned about his placings as that effected his show $. IFBB judging can be and often is very political and Jay didn't want to risk being in the dog house with the judges.
@@stevejamieson8468 it was the way he treated Lee at the time. Was disregard...he could have just told Lee... listen bro, lm really sorry ..but, can't speak to you! Explain! Lee would have lm sure respected him!
Jay seems like a real class act. He is well spoken, seems quite relatable, very respectful, shows admiration for his competitors, nothing to not like about him.
Lee was the first of the truly freak mass monsters, and he was ripped to shreds. Deserves to be on the Mt. Rushmore of bodybuilding. A truly stand up guy as well.
He really should be. He would've been a bigger name if he wasn't so outspoken but that's what makes him Lee priest. Stayed true to himself and never sold out.
Thats strange given the fact Jay blanked Lee after Lee was banned from the ifbb saying it wouldn't be good for him (jay) to be seen even talking to Lee as he was still under contract with ifbb and weider but I guess its all cool now as "we" are all retired and doing different things in life......
Lee's forgotten more about training and physique competition than these top level guys know. He's a legend and should be a someone employed at the highest level of IFBB leadership.
How bout when Jay wouldn't speak to Lee a few years later when Lee was banned from the Ifbb and Jay was Mr. O. One thing about Lee he never speaks the hatred face to face when he's unhappy with another athlete. Phil Heath proved this about Lee Priest at a convention and Lee said nothing.
Lee priest comes across with attitude of small man syndrome with insecurity issues. He took drugs and still takes drugs to get bigger and hopefully intimidate his bully's and fears....but everyone can see right through this. Cutler in the other hand is a great guy with a humble personality. Absolute legend!
Anyone who has been at a world elite tier in something, doesn't matter what it is, and is now in their 50s and beyond should have quite a lot of wisdom and insight into the inner and outer workings of life.
I don't think Jay had any idea how many fans he had, and people he inspired with his accomplishments. It's amazing what having just 1 person in the world better than you at what you do, can do to someone's confidence. We love you, Jay. You're the man.
Your day is NOT fully complete unless you've blasted the calves. Did you skip calves today? If so it's not too late. Find a staircase and go to failure with body weight. Thanks.
Jay cutler was my favourite when I started lifting that iron back in about 2003-04, especially when the 2008-2009 Olympia came, I think that was the best version of Jay right there, Lee however, is just a freak straight up, lol nah shout out to Lee Priest, I’m also Australian like Lee, that’s how we are we say shit how it is and dont care, alot of us aussies are like that,
I met both of these guys at the same place a year apart which was Long Beach CA Golds gym. They were there as guests. I asked them both how much they can bench press
I remember when Lee said years back that Jay didn't speak to Lee after Lee got banned and at expose would just walk passed him because he didn't want to get in trouble from endorsements/ifbb for affiliating with him.
This is what bodybuilding is really all about.. lifting each other up.. its all one big family... Lee Priest still the best arms in bodybuilding hands down 😊
When i started lifting summer 2005 lee was in all the magazines i wanted to be like lee i looked up to him when everyone else was big into ronnie coleman
Lee priest, frank mcgrath and branch warren were my favorite bodybuilders when i was coming up. Lee by far had the craziest physique...just absolutely dialed from head to toe. He showed many that bodybuilding is nothing more then politics and business tho unfortunately
Prayer for Repentance ❤️🥺 LORD JESUS I know I am a sinner and have displeased you in many ways,I ask you to forgive LORD for my sins,I believe you died for my sins on that cross and ROSE FROM the dead three days later, please come into my life,I receive you as my LORD and savior in JESUS NAME amen❤️
Hes a lot more respectful to his comp than people like arnold or ronnie tbh. Ronnie called lee small after losing to him. Bro is short but anything but small. And at least he doesnt look preggers and ruined the sport the way ron did
Jay Cutler, one of the few body builders who can incline bench 745 lbs for 12 reps and make it look easy. Lee has the best guns in body building history. This like Zeus and Apollo sitting side by side reflecting on the Golden Age of Atlantis before God wiped it out. For more on that, be sure to check out the Timothy Alberino and Scott Mitchell interview. Whatever you do, never skip calf day.
