MyGuyMars breaks down his thought process as well as how he created the smash hit for Chris Brown #takeyoudown #chrisbrown #musicproducer #motivation #myguymars #1500ornothin #theunderdogs
First off I have to personally thank MyGuyMars for creating this beat. Take You Down is one of my favorite songs of all time . I watched his R&B money interview to hear him talk about this production more in depth. He spoke about it briefly on the podcast but somehow months later this video popped up on my RU-vid timeline and it did not disappoint. I could listen to this instrumental for hours by its self. So thank you for your contribution to rnb music bro. This is a track that will live on forever!!! Timeless beat.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 one of the best to ever do it. & i discovered you thru Jane Handcock yearsss ago when yall did that joint project. had no idea i had been hearing your work my whole life 🙏🏾☀️✨
This is dope. It’s good to see the production premixed. It gives a lot more of a realistic look at the beat prior to any kind of collaborations. The beat is for sure dope still, but it’s very simple. Most of us producers be doing too much lol.
Do you think it's easier, or better to make music on Reason? I'm using Logic Pro since 2013, and despite using it on and off... nothing wrong with Logic Pro, but I just think that sometimes, it's just not for me. I feel forced in a way to make music with Logic. I haven't experienced other DAWS because I'm busy with work, but I'm hoping someone here could give me some suggestions.
Hi Mars! Thank you for making this video. How do make/find a similar sound as the sine you used at 3:29? I can never find a good R&B sine lead in Reason -- was hoping you can help!
@@joshuabrown3465’Z ol Sine’ preset in Omnisphere, with pitch bend. You gotta play it like Mars is playing it (look at his left hand), or it won't sound like that.🤝🏾
