Hey Doug, these are "5mm shelf pins". Search for that on Amazon. I drilled the holes 0.201" diameter.

No problem Doug. If you haven't started yours yet, I can also share a few other lessons. Like the optimum peg hole spacing to fit almost any coin. Took me a few attempts before I got that right. And if you happen to be using Vectric V-Carve or Aspire to create your challenge coin display, I can send you the Vectric file. Might save you some time

@@mikekikkert6847 Mike, thanks for all the help! I would appreciate knowing what spacing you use. And thanks for the file offer but unfortunately I don’t run either of those programs.

Horizontal pin spacing is 1.175" center to center. Space between rows is 2.0". Will also add that the entire display is tilted back 15 degrees. I originally tried a tilt of 11.5 degrees, but it wasn't enough tilt for the heavier coins. Post a picture when you get yours done.
