The old Ghostbusters movies are still the best ones in the franschise. Ghostbusters 2016 does not even exist, period.

Dan Aykroyd's grandfather and I believe other family members were very big into the spiritual and paranormal. It was this background and Aykroyd's own interest that actually influenced the writing of the movie.

These interviews were filmed in 2014 as a part of the Extra Features when the first two movies was re-released on Blu-Ray as it was a 30 year anniversary for the first Ghostbusters film & a 25 year anniversary for the second Ghostbusters film back in 2014. The Director Ivan Reitman passed away in 2022.

@@cyberjack i kinda get what you mean i guess. I rewatched the clip, and it might have been a version of the movie you watched where it had a weird cut. Cause in it, Venkman does interrupt Vigo to say “Now!” And then they fire. I could see that feeling like a random weird jump cut. If thats what you’re talking about. But I’m very positive that Peter is supposed to abruptly do that.

From the Special Features on the Ghostbusters 2 Blu-Ray wich was re-released in 2014.
