Producers are amazing, yes, i wouldnt say they are what make artists famous though. Without vocals on a beat, producers can't get known either. In retrospect it's artists that make producers famous. Its a equal exchange though
Producers make good money, and if people wouldn’t stream music and buy vinyl records you would know who produced it. You can almost always read everything you would want to know on the sleeve.
"its just a good bass, when you find a good one why change it?" thats how you get very good about one specific thing and make your signature sound. These guys are absolute legends
some people don't realize the sheer difference in work between your average rap song and this. This is why the song is as addicting as it is, because it's so rich that your brain can just dive in it
@@J2003-i8q Think he just means that this is why the average trap banger isn't as memorable as this type of hit. Not that this is a rap song. Trap bangers are fire too tho.
@@YznHsh5 You don’t see a lot of producers nowadays really utilizing hardware synths, guitar recordings, and be as creative with their mix as these guys. That’s basically what I meant.
@@ZeuzMakesMusic for real, a lot nowadays take a sample, add a two step hi hat, a clap and bass and thats it. It's fire don't get me wrong but you lose that artistic part of it
“ there’s real hatred towards people that are simply just trying to love . we want to keep that conversation going , and if we have to put it in people’s faces for them to pay attention , you know that’s something that we’re all signed up for . “ 👏🏽🖤
Take A Daytrip has been making SO much good music lately Man On The Moon 3 was so sonically amazing and all Lil Nas X's singles have all been unique from one another but yet so catchy I can't wait to see what else they have in store tbh
@@syncseason honestly though! their talent goes beyond just some typical producers on fl studios throwing an 808 pattern together and trying to be different throwing samples over it. These guy's create with what ever they have available. These guys have an explosive career ahead of them or woll be heavily underrated, no inbetween.
The effects plug-in they used on the banjo made it sound like an oud (which is a middle-eastern guitar-like instrument). Look up Omar Faruk Tekbelek if you wanna hear some good examples of how the instrument sounds.
This song is sooo reminiscent of that 2000s pharell’s but mainly timbaland’s Arabic/latin samples on a beat type melodies making out with 2016 house pop like (Alicia key’s common)while the timeless dancehall genre percussions and drums do their thing with day trip putting their own sauce to it. In conclusion Day trip did an tremendously amazing job making the beat and letting nas’ vision goo brrrr asf
Man I love Deconstructed, its so cool seeing how a lot of my favorite songs were produced Montero is my favorite song ever, and its surprising how fast this episode came out. It's arguably the highest quality episode with all the camerwork and detail
I'm so surprised that the stringed instrument was a banjo! When I heard the song the first time, I had assumed it was a lute or mandolin. Either way, it sounds great and really gives the song that special something.
You guys are GENIUS! The song is so well constructed and built in a way nobody, I said NOBODY, can say they don’t like it. Produced a smash hit guyssss

That light skin dude looks like Sid from Toy Story Edit: I don’t want you to think I don’t respect you guys. It’s hard to find producers that make live music these days. I have much respect for that.
And you can feel the love from him, it overflows that he is a good person. So for the people that don't understand the video I think it's just because you don't want to understand because you are guilty of the message! Nas has did what no other rapper has done or will never do in this lifetime...keep it up man we love you and the creativity!!❤❤
You just have an idea for a rhythm for the drums, and then for the instrumentation you can have chords come to mind or just make chords in a key or make random notes, and then have a melody come to mind or make a melody according to the key.
