@@claudiofunes1380 Sure man. & No. Basically a "free-non profit" type beat is a term producers use to get views on their beats and land placements with rappers. But if you get it on these beats and lets say your song gets popular, the producer still owns the rights to the beat 100%, you cant say in a court of law that the beat said in the description "free for non profit" or "free for profit". The only way you're safe with a beat is if you buy it from these stores like Beatstars because you get a contract that says you own 50% of the song (the producer also owns 50% of the song all the time) When it comes to songs that actually become hits, its even more complicated, the rapper can never go without paying because in order to put it on digital platforms like spotify and promote it, the label needs to clear the beat or else they will get sued by the producer and trust me, they rather pay then get sued and that cost them much more money.
