I really want to see RE make a production version similar to the 865 big bore interceptor. Price it competitively and then watch it sell like hot cakes. Put in a off-roader and scrambler option just for fun.
I flew from California to London for the Bike Shed event last May and this was honestly one of the highlights of my trip. This bike was just perfect in person. What a great story for the creation. Jealous of anyone who gets to ride the Malle Rally.
I don't even have my Interceptor yet but you bet your arse I'm keeping my eyes so goddamn open for the Malle Rallye Royale Kit. Love your products, love these machines, love the idea of your rallye, love your style, keep it up!
so this can be the tipping point for RE to finally decide and take some clues from these superb custom machines to bring its own scrambler version of the already looking legendary interceptor............and given that RE UK has worked very closely with this project ......im being very optimistic for a EVEN BETTER SCRAMBLER INTERCEPTOR ........
It was a joy to bike swap with Robert for a few miles on the DGR2020, what a machine they have built! The Royale is super comfortable and handles great too. The perfect Enfield adv bike in my opinion!
That was a great Enfield 🇬🇧rally build the attention to detail and function was really clever I loved the back light that you can adjust and she sounds loud and lumpy love it 👍🏁
Interesting, verry interesting. It's great to see the hallowed RE name and bikes back in the game. Good luck with all the fabulous riding you'll all be doing.
I am in love with this bike, THIS ROYALE IS MY DREAM BIKE for sure, when I buy my first RE interceptor, I will turn it into the Royal. With your help for sure ;)
I Enjoyed the Video. What an Awesome Motorcycle. The Malle lads and girls are a great bunch of people, been to many of there events. Looking forward to 2020 Keep up the good work.
I saw the Thornton "supermoto/scrambler" and that bike stayed in my mind, but a very very expensive one. Then I saw this vid and I think I will make one! Love RE.
Really beautiful "scooters." I built my 1962 Triumph 650 Tiger into an 800cc "Sportster Killer" When I completed my customizing it was suitable for riding cross country as in the Baja 1000. I really regretted selling the bike. It was ridiculously fast with a suitable suspension and brakes. Fully concerted to 12v negative ground with an alternator adapted from a Honda CB 350. A truly special Triumph.
Royal Enfield is on a roll. It has so much in store for the next 12-24 months. The following models are up for launch - Classic Roadster Shotgun Hunter Sherpa Scram Flying Flea and An Electric Motorcyle Also BSA will be launching its 650cc motorcycle by the end of the year.
Great machine no doubt and i would buy one and somehow fit Barkbusters for extra protection on the bars and relocate the indicators to a less vulnerable location
Brilliant bikes are an inspiration to us in what can be done to normal road bike and wow what a fantastically turned out motorcycle great ideas and fully functional as well Enfield proper street scrambler kit will be a good purchase 😎👍
"The longest inapproved motorcycle rally in the country?" I couldn't understand what you said there. This video is so awesome. You created a masterpiece. I am just so shocked that you cannot buy this exact bike off the showroom floor. In America, the only enduro you can buy is a 400cc or 650cc single cylinder engine with 35 horsepower. They don't make the small twin cylinder scramblers with dirt tires. There are no real enduros. They only sell dirt bikes and streetbikes in America. They don't sell any enduros. Enduros are different because they can travel on the highway for the majority of their time, but are still safe to ride off road. In America, the single cylinder bikes are not capable of driving on the highway, they are absolute junk, with not enough horsepower, and not enough RPM capability, and too short of gear ratios for true spirited road riding. The twin cylinder engine solves all of the problems that plague a low revving and high vibration single cylinder engine. They could take the CBR300 or 400 Ninja engine, and stick it on the KLR650 chassis, and they would have something that is far better than anything they have ever sold. Also, America doesn't have the African Twin Honda. I am so confused why they refuse to sell good twin cylinder multipurpose enduro machines in America.
hi nice. however if u cud share some of the details like tyre sizes, what mm of front fork travel, and the rear shocks extentions technicals. and ofcoure the overall seat hieght increased and the ground clearance
Great looking, great paint job, useful alterations. I'm also a Royal Enfield technician, I'm curious to know why the front mudguard has been totally removed, this engine heats quickly. Mud & dirt splashes from front wheel will cover and affect the oil cooler as well as engine cooling fins.
