He is famous because in the match against Internacional he was stellar. He saved a lot of shots and was brilliant. The Gremio fans loved him as they are hated rivals of Internacional.

+iayyam I am a Grêmio fan, and I was at 2nd grade at the time. I remember asking my classmate who would win, and he said Inter would win. I, being a Grêmio fan, said that Mazembe would win. When Mazembe scored the goals, I tried to replicate his dance. Actually, the day of the match is rembered by Grêmio fans as "Mazembe Day", and Kidiaba said he liked Grêmio. Too bad we're in the shitter right now.
