The Man in the Flames 

My brothers and I
were ready to die
the crowd filled with hate
In God's hands, was our fate
would there be an escape from this place
Please, Lord, save us from the flames
We were condemned, there was no hope
We would not bend the knee
To idols and kings, in this land of captivity
We trusted in our God, who is Mighty to Save
we believed when all we had was each other and faith
we trusted in his will, and when the fire started to rage
There stood the fourth man in the flames.
He didn’t tell us who He was,
But we knew, we were with the Lord
The flames did not hurt us
We didn’t feel a thing
As the flames danced around His holy form
The crowd was amazed, and the king let us out
We started to shout God’s praise
He gave us the man in the flames.
We were condemned, there was no hope

The King declared He saw someone who looked like the Son of God
In with us in the flames, and He was compelled to let us out
God used the man in the flames to convict the heart of the king
And he let us out of the flame, God’s man saved us from the flame
Who is this man?
Could this man be the Son of God!
We believe this is the Son of God!!
All Praise to the God who delivers us from the flames
Give glory to the Son of God who carries us through
Praise the Lord for his power and His grace
And we thank Him for quenching the flames!
