The Razor's Edge (1984). Based on a novel. Not a comedy. Would love to see you react. It is Murray's best performance. A lot of substance to the movie. Wes Anderson movies -- it took me a while to take the plunge and get into them. Definitely a unique, quirky style to all his movies. One of those directors where you can always tell for sure that it is one of his because there is just something so... Wes Anderson-y about them. so far I really enjoyed The Royal Tenenbaums. Great cast, including some I don't always enjoy, but enjoyed every one of the performances here. Was a great first entry for me to get used to his style and understand how serious/not serious you are supposed to take everything. Also loved The Life Aquatic (with Bill Murray), but I'm glad I saw Tenenbaums first to help me get my Wes Anderson 'sea legs' in so to speak.

In the US, right-hand traffic goes back to the 18th century. Freight wagons were pulled by teams of horses. and the drivers rode on the left rear horse, using their right hand to more easily control the team. Traffic shifted to the right so drivers could easily avoid collisions. Eventually, with the rise of the automobile and increase in global traffic, many countries switched to the right to fit in with neighbors - including Samoa, which just switched from the left in 2009.

It's a brilliant comedy. I think the reason it's not more well known is that it depends so much on the viewer being familiar with James Bond and other earlier classic spy movies. If you'd grown up with those films, the story would have made a lot more sense and you'd get a lot of jokes that are dependent on all the tropes from those films. But even so, it obviously still works really well since we can see you enjoy it so much. :)
