This is so cool! I can listen to it a hundred times. Some basslines are just epic; they don't have to be fancy and full of notes in order to be so nice. Great job, pal.
just practice, actually you don't have to practice like they teach you, just play a lot and discover things on your own, learn what they mean and implement those things in your playing, at least this is what made me go on with bass and become better than before :D
Hope it got less tricky haha This was also one of the first songs i tried to learn, though for me it was guitar. It looks so much harder on bass, at least with guitar most of it is beginner chords
Do you happen to have the tabs in a one or two page format so I can see all of the tab at the same time? I'm sort of a beginning/intermediate player and I've finding that playing each section is not that difficult for me, but playing at full speed and trying to follow the moving tab is a bit of a challenge.
I've got it in PDF format but its 5 pages long; available on my patreon page at patreon.com/brand73 -- other thing you can do is just pause the video and learn it section by section
Those little clip-on tuners are pretty good and inexpensive, although i'd probably say if you are new player to start with an easier song 😀 This song has some tricky parts.
thanks you -- for this song, it was in a tab book of some old Nirvana magazine I had laying around. Other songs I do by ear, others I grab off tab websites and then modify to my liking, etc. It all really depends on the song.
Not familiar with it, but I can look into it, in the meantime I do have a bunch of other Soundgarden songs I've covered: ru-vid.com/group/PL1Wls6pumKn7rKztFEP_dObTIvahOd7RN
I use the multi-effects pedal is Zoom B1 Four. www.zzounds.com/item--ZOOZB1FOUR But I don't recall which patch I used probably one of the overdrive patches.
thanks! Bass I am using is Yamaha TRBX174EW www.musiciansfriend.com/bass/yamaha-trbx174ew-mango-wood-4-string-electric-bass-guitar Also the multi-effects pedal is Zoom B1 Four www.zzounds.com/item--ZOOZB1FOUR
This song isn't boring at all. Kurt opened his heart when the band covered this song. It gave the song a twist and a different interpretation for many.
Yes I agree!! I actually prefer Nirvana's version to the original. Also it has a really interesting and fun to play bass line, so not sure what "D L" is complaining about.
