This time-lapse production has been a wild and exhilarating ride, with a lot of physical work lugging my 120-130 pounds of gear around all of Manhattan. I bended (broke) some laws and made a ton of friends. Thank you all for your support and please feel free to help out a starving artist and share this video with the world.

Now 10 years after this was first published, I have just learned of Cameron's passing last year (2021) in April. Absolutely tragic. This video is a truly inspirational piece. Thank you for this video, Cameron. Thank you for introducing me to Blackmill. May you rest in peace.

its a hyperlapse...did you move evry time your tripod by taking one picture????? Hyperlapse is more difficult than timelapse.Respect for that work. Amazing!!!!!

Visited New York on New Years.. I can't even describe the feeling it gives you coming to that city and the people you see. Such extreme lifestyles and diversity. Opens your eyes up to what the world really has to offer. Also I'm wondering how you made those transitions so smooth. Did you have it on some sort of track?

Hey little late lol, but it’s actually just on a tripod, the shot is bigger but in software after he make it have a upward sweep effect kinda like scrolling! I’m his nephew by the way thats how I know

I’m his nephew, although this is a bit late lol he used a software for a after effect so the original shot was much bigger it’s kinda like scrolling up in a way!
