Currently, 5 countries issue their versions of the valaurum gold money. 3 in Africa, the cook islands and the U.S. Who knows who's next.

Love to know if they could do platinum backs, or if the platinum would be too hard to work with since it doesn't 'flow'. Also, Bullion Now goldbacks anyone??

Considering the fact that even platinum cast bars are difficult, my initial answer is "no"... but the big reason why not for those is because of the other elements needed to make it work stop it from being a pure product. In the case of the goldback where it doesn't matter if there are other elements in there (so long as it contains a certain amount of pure platinum) it'd be interesting to know if it actually would make it possible! We're already sponsoring Friday, might as well take on a state that does goldbacks too!

Alot of stackers have trashed this product. But im willing to take a chance on them. And i think if you get more people on board with this gold product. Then we might see the premiums drop.

They came out some months ago. They were $10 when they released now they're more expensive and sold out so you can only find them on the secondhand market. I'd jump on it before they go up further if you're interested.

Oh yes, another thing - they only made 100k of them, which have a red stripe down the left. But you can find the first 1k with a purple strip down the side for sale rated by PMG. Think defythegrid has them.

Yes, 10% gst applies when you buy the goldbacks.

@@tslee8236 no I mean when you buy other goods with them , say you use one to buy a loaf of bread well then who pays the GST on the bread ? The tax still has to be paid , the goverment isn’t going to say oh cool yeah no worry’s mate don’t worry about the tax 😂

@@chrisbytwerk3712 way too high of a premium. My minimum denomination when buying gold is 1 oz. These notes are for people who want to play but can’t actually pay.
