Michael Myers in Halloween (2018) is the coolest look for a horror villain in my opinion. When he puts the mask on at the gas station and gets ready to start his next rampage, it gives me chills everytime.

I always loved part fives mask, always will. That’s the magic of being a 90s kid whose favorite place was the video store. Wasn’t allowed to watch it so I got my fix by staring at VHS boxes. That one, without having seen the films, always struck me as eerie and creepy.

Some ideas for tier lists. - All the kills from a chosen franchise (these could be pretty long ones) - Types of Zombies (or just Zombie Movies) - Iconic Horror Movie Locations (Dawn of the Dead Mall, Boat from Jaws, the Nostromo, etc.) - King of Queens Halloween Episodes (I guess there is only one. Which makes this the greatest prank vid to release on Halloween. lol)

It’s not talked about enough I think. But in the original Halloween, when Laurie is leaning against the wall next to the darkened open doorway, and you see Michael just slowly come into light is my favorite moment in any horror film. Still gives me chills.

I ranked this along with you as I watched the video. But before I would watch the part you were discussing your opinion on each look, I'd pause the video and give my opinion first. It's interesting to see how similar each of our rankings were yet some are soooo different.

I'll just pick the top 3 for each one: - Michael: Hobo Myers from H2, Burned Myers from Halloween Kills, and Thorn Myers from Curse. - Jason: Remake Jason (Hockey Mask), Uber Jason, and Part 7 Jason. - Freddy: New Nightmare, Crystal Lake Nightmare, and the Original Nightmare. Jason was a tough one because most of his designs is pure gold. The only ones I actually hated was Part 2 and JGTH.

40:28 They shot the whole movie with the KNB mask, then the Weinsteins objected to the look, so they went back and reshot all the close-ups using the Stan Winston mask, but the kitchen/galley set had been destroyed when they shot that scene originally so for those close-ups they had to just replace the mask digitally.

The OG Michael Myers mask works super well for me cause it resembles a human (despite never presenting as one while wearing it) and we dont get clarity behind his alluded supernatural abilities, only the "clarity" of realising, this is a person. More revealing masks just break down that mystique that makes the visage of him more intimidating than it may actually be.

For some reason im in really love with part 6 desing, i feel like for me as an deffinitve jason's desing. I have that the concept of that Jason is quite criticized for how it looks in its somewhat bright color palette at first glance but... to a certain extent it becomes terrifying that aspect of a carpenter gardener if you look at more detail and you intertwine it with how Jason is, the gloves make sense that because Jason was cuted on the hand by Tristh with his machete his hand is sliced and uncontrollable while the other is stabbed by the final girl on part 3, the gloves are to help Jason stabilize his hands and get to move them better, which shows Jason's intelligence before any situation despite being dead. and the fact that the gloves are somewhat dirty orange and stained with covered blood for me combine with Jason and are especially cool, I mean.. they look like typical gloves that a murderer would have on hand and it is basically something that stands out quite a bit with its design despite looking cartoonish, it is creepy. the work belt is a detail, it is simple but logical, Jason had to be given a more realistic reasoning of where he gets his work weapons, the belt works quite well since apart from having knives in its pockets it has a sack where he can keep the machete to kill later and keep it, giving a glimpse that Jason still has conscience in any situation, he knows how to manage when he needs it despite being completely dead and being a zombie who is draw by an undead unstopeable killer. He does it in a certain way differently than in his continuities since he is more prepared and ingenious but he was hardly defeated since Tommy Jarvis by chance was able to trap him on the bottom of the lake he supposedly drown, come out unharmed. Meanwhile other jason were easly beated like part 7 or 8. What I'm getting at this that it's being seriously underrated and I think it's a good look/concept that looks scary and cool the way it looks, is like an improvement on the first Jasons and has its charm, just because it looks like a carpenter gardener cartonish doesn't mean it sucks! (My favorite jason LOL)

Same with the Ends mask. I also have the same replicas of 2018 and Kills(I of course also have the original mask) but didn't wanna get the Ends one. What's funny is I have replicas of all the ones you say are your favorite for all 3 characters on display as they're my favorites as well. I have tons of masks but the ones I have displayed most prominently with mannequin heads and all is Halloween 1, 2018, Friday the 13th part 7(the entire face with a removable hockey mask) and Nightmare on Elm Street part 1 mask and hat. Those are my favorite designs from all 3 with only Halloween having 2 as you HAVE to include the original despite 2018 technically being my favorite design. I've also got a Jason part 3 and 4 on my wall but it's part 7 that gets the full display with his face as well underneath(and showing through the broken section).

Wanting a different presentation with the mask, Miner wanted it to be void of all expression and to be very white. KNB designed it based on this description. Miner loved the mask and chose it for principal photography. After nearly four weeks of production, the producers and various members of the crew attended a screening of the film, which was about halfway complete. After Michael was seen on screen for the first time, a person (who has not been identified) stood up and said “that is not Michael Myers' mask”. A new mask was then demanded by producers, but Miner was unaware of this as he was unavailable for the screening. John Carl Buechler and his team were called by the studio to recreate the mask from the sixth film, without Miner's knowledge. Chris Durand was fitted and the mask was brought to set to film the opening scene of the film. Infuriated, Miner still shot with the KNB mask but to please all involved, shot the scene again with Buechler’s mask. So the h6 mask was never the original mask they were gonna use

I watched Freddy vs Jason with the commentary and Ken who played Jason said that his stunt man was Kane hodder. He said that he was Kane hodder’s stuntman in one of the previous Jason movies. Ken said that even a stuntman needs a stuntman. In Freddy vs Jason, it was Kane hodder that was on fire in the cornfield.

Yeah apparently the Halloween 4 mask looked almost identical to the original film's mask when they ordered it but because it came in the wrong colour they had to paint it and it didn't look anywhere near as good.

The belt is the problem with part 6. I’m okay with the gloves since he needs them to hold his hand together after it got split in half like a piece of lumber in part 4.

I feel that art the clown needs to start being considered for the next horror icon. Might need to turn this into the big 4

Final Chapter & New Blood Jason's are my favorite overall looks. Also my favorite performances. His brutal kills and aggressiveness just seemed on another level in parts 4 & 7 too lol. 78 Myers & 84 Freddy OG looks also my faves.. same with performances and atmosphere of the originals of Halloween & Nightmare.

The Ken Kirzinger is my favorite Jason, because yeah he is taller which makes him look more intimidating, I liked the outfit because I never really cared for the jumpsuits in the previous movies. It felt like they put more effort into the look instead of "hey lets stick him in a dirty jumpsuit and call it a day" looks that he had in the previous movies

When it comes to my favorite look for the characters from each movie. Jason in part 7 is the best Jason design ever he looked so badass in that movie (then part 8 ruined it). For Freddy I’ve always loved his makeup in part 3 and 4 ( his small quick redesign in Freddy vs Jason when he looked demonic was really awesome). For Micheal it’s a 3 way tie between the original, Halloween 6, and Halloween 2018.

Ranking Jason is hard because I don't know whether to factor in his unmasked looks, especially since you don't see his face in some movies. 7 is the clear winner all around, but I also like his look in part 3, even though it always reminded me of Sloth from the Goonies. The few seconds we see of him in part 2 is pretty cool. He looks terrible in parts 4 and 8 but is still intimidating with the mask.

Hot take: Halloween ends is actually one of the better movies in the franchise. Its flawed but i like the direction it takes at being completely different from all the other movies. It takes a huge swing and i liked that swing. Corey Cunningham should’ve been introduced in halloween 2018 or in halloween kills but i still appreciate what they did with him. I also loved the look of Michael’s mask in the movie.

You'd think they would've reshot that one scene after getting a different mask, but no! They kept it in! Idiots! And yeah, man, both Tyler Mane and James Jude Courtney really did Nick Castle justice in their respective portrayals of Michael. If Nick had retired from the role completely, I think he would've picked JJC as his successor, honestly, just from the 2018 film alone! Bad. Ass!
