Very true. For me, born in '64, Bruce is one of my all time roll models/hero's. But even as a kid I could tell Bruce was banging that honey in Return of The Dragon. It was totally obvious. He had a sloppy fight with Wong Jak Man and a boy extra from Enter the Dragon… and maybe a short altercation with a Japanese American karateka during his college years. He was being pressured for years to prove his skill in the competitive circuit. OK, I know it’s point fighting, but when he turned up at Longbeach, he could have asked any karate champ to unload on him, and prove his greatness - even if both wore all the body armour. He did no such thing. All he did was put on a display of useless party tricks and some light sparring with some compliant students. So, I think Lee’s legendary fighter status is undeserved. My question is why discuss this man’s situation who has been dead since 1973. What is the benefit and who is the non talking narrator. I could barely understand what he was saying. The first time as a kid seeing Kato on the Green Hornet inspired many of us to want to learn how to fight like that. The way Bruce used his hands and feet also the speed he executed was incredible. Our only knowledge of self defense was boxing, wrestling, karate and judo. I knew nothing about Kung Fu, Jujitsu or any of the forms of Martial Arts Bruce Lee introduced. I don't actually consider that saying someone wasn't altogether monogamous to be an insult. And "finally revealed" that he had lovers outside his marriage - I think that ship sailed years ago! I mean, I love Muhammad Ali too and he was also pretty well known for not being the most faithful husband on the planet either, and I don't consider that saying so is putting Ali down either. And with Bruce Lee, it doesn't seem as if he was doing it behind his wife's back - it seems very much that she knew all about it. In fact, that's the only time that I would say being sexually unfaithful was something negative - if someone did so behind their partner's back. But even then, it's not the promiscuity that I would find to be a negative, it would be the person being deceptive/two-faced that I would have a problem with, not necessarily the act in and of itself.
