The movie jazz is probably my favorite jazz because of how much ive grown to love the Pontiac solstice. My childhood copy is the weird dead jazz retool, so id like to track down either the movie the best or the studio series.
On point! Bodaventura struck again. He supposedly objected to it over Jazz dying in the 2007 movie, but had no issue with there now being TWO Mirages and THREE Wheeljacks.
@@ZukoPrince Agree 100%…. If it was going to be Jazz though a closer voice actor to Scatman and a more G1 Jazz head would have gone a long way toward making that movie better.
@@ronbondujon9690 Dino is WAY cooler than Mirage from any continuity IMO and neither Que or Pablo will ever be Jackie in my mind while that one from the start of the Bumblebee movie would get my dollars if they made a solo movie of him.
Thankfully for HasTak being in better terms with Porsche now, and from the recent leaked listings for the upcoming Masterpiece figures, we're *finally* getting the elusive official MP Jazz after so long and I cannot wait to have it + the inevitable toy deco lol.
I hope it works out, my one fear is that Porsche was a nightmare to work with when it came to Mirage in Studio Series. I’m hoping it won’t impact the Jazz figure.

From what I understand, the art directors and toy engineers for animated essentially worked shoulder to shoulder at the insistence of Derick Wyatt. They coproduced every design in the show, whereas it was usually the toys that got designed first.

Splendid sharing, man. PS. My personal fave, even to this very day, is still the redeco of the Deluxe Battle Ops Jazz in his G2 colours (Ultimate Gift Set). Aptly, it is the 'ultimate' Jazz for me [that best utilizes the C-Clip gimmicry (even able to form a superweapon by merging his gun with the pair of speakers to form the 'Sonic Cannon')!] You stay awesome! 👌 😊🎉 🎶 🎵 🎵 🎵
I love that Sunstreaker is on this list (yeah I know obviously), very interested to see what you can do with Rollbar and for sure I hope you mention all the Throttlebots but somehow the very best Autobot ever Wheeljack hasn't made it to the list yet! Bumblebee may need a year by year video :)
The throttlebots could each have some interesting vids, though I may combine a few of them. Wheeljack would have a great video to look at, I need to start researching it before too much longer. As for that Bumblebee vid, it feels like it would be outdated before it even came out with how many toys he gets😂
@@ronbondujon9690 oh yeah combined Throttlebots videos would be great, Chase is my favourite both because he is an Autobot that turns into a red sports car but also that Miami Vice era with his alt mode being a Ferrari Testarossa. You know if you ever decide to approach your vids from another angle one where you pick an alt mode and discuss all the bots that have used it could be interesting especially if you include Gobots, Machine Robo and other obscure media like Turbo Teen and Knightrider
People are way too harsh to the transformers made for younger kids. It’s like Transformers fans forget sometimes that tfs are *gasp* for kids. It’s awesome that you can share that with your siblings!
Basically, his original toy had the door wings but he didn’t have them in the G1 Cartoon. It’s essentially some people having nostalgia for the show and others liking the figure more.

Cool vid. Jazz is one of my favorite characters in the G1 series since the 80's. While I never got to own the original toy or any of its reissues I was able to get the RTS Special-Ops Jazz and has been my Jazz in my CHUG collection. A friend of mine gifted me the Blokee Jazz which makes it a neat desk toy. It was in the original recording I did. Ultimately, I just figured it’s not worth bringing up. If I did, it just would’ve led to people getting upset by the sticker and Hasbro’s recall of it, and it would have given attention to a freelancer who doesn’t deserve the bump. I’m not trying to take sides here, I just don’t see a way to bring it up that doesn’t open the door to potentially more volatile discussion. It’s an easy detail to ignore, and thus I’m ignoring it. On a personal note, out of the characters that could have been slapped on, putting it on a transformer voiced by Scatman Crothers borders on vile. Again, that’s just my personal outlook on it.

Hey, happy birthday! That’s a stroke of good luck, I’m happy I could be a small part of it! Bulkhead is on my list, and I really want to get to him before too much longer. I’ll admit, it’s hard to figure out which character to do next sometimes. Should it be based on how old the suggestion was, how many people asked for that character? Not to mention that I only have so much time a week between work, school, and doing the daily vids. I want to make so many more videos a week to make everyone happy, but it’s sometimes a struggle to even get one MANY Toys Of out. But it gives me motivation! I’m going to get to every request eventually.

It maybe something with internet connection, or I know that sometimes if you comment on a video repeatedly in a short period of time, RU-vid will sometimes flag it as spam. It might be a thing where you might need to refresh a window or reply to your own comment for it to pop up? I’m not too sure, I’m just guessing.

I really wish we got to see Jazz in Cyberverse after I found that out, it’s a shame. I love the Insecticons, Bombshell in particular is one of my big favorites. I have a lot of viewer requests we’re working through, but the Insecticons will absolutely have a video in time! That said, I’ll probably break them up into their own Vids. After all, Ransack already had his own solo video, it would feel strange to for Kickback, Shrapnel, and Bombshell to all share a video.
@@enemy-steel It makes sense! At least in the G1 cartoon and IDW, all three of the Insecticons were weirdly smart when it came to rebuilding, modifying, and designing Transformers.
32:21 actually the 14 is meant to reference the fact jazz was listed as transformers 14 in 1984 toy catalogs and also because ofc they couldn't get the porsche license so 14 instead of 4 is an okay sacrifice

I had foc Jazz, wasnt the best but a very charming figure none the less, always wanted animated Jazz, power of the primes, and reveal the shield those were great solid versions
Overall, Jazz has had a good of toys. Even his “bad” toys aren’t bad, they’re just not as good as some of his others. I don’t know if he’s ever had a real dud of a figure.
I would love a modern deluxe sized RX-8 Agent Meister/Jazz (in as many decos as they want to release), I wouldn't mind getting my hands on a Special Ops Jazz if I found one for a cheap price, I hope Hasbro do a new gamer Jazz like they have with Sideswipe (er better feet please.) I really want to track down a Studio Series 10 Jazz but not with those late taxes. I quite like the Power of the Primes Jazz and utterly adore the SS86 Jazz with and without Toyhax and the G2 Orange recolour is cool.
That’s a good trio of Jazzs. That’s the fun y thing about Jazz: I don’t know if he’s had an out-and-out bad figure, it feels like his worst outings would be a highlight for a lot of other characters. Also, I need a Gamer Edition Jazz! My pipe dream, though, is to one day see Gamer Edition Bruticus.

I can kinda see it, especially with the colors. I think the reason they didn’t go with that is because Grimlock was a remold of Wheeljack, who basically had Jazz’s color scheme with the white car and blue racing stripes look.

Let's go, I love Jazz Ya like Jazz? Personally, I hate Animated Jazz design. He is very skinny and tall, but his chest is so wide. He has a long skinny face and he doesn't even have his cool helmet. Instead, he has a goofy 1920's cap that turns into a caveman mono eyebrow. Lame Honestly I really understand your love for the Ultimate Gift Set Jazz. It looks more interesting than the amazing RTS Jazz, but the alt mode's roof looks kinda boring. It's still really cool. I always wanted the "cute" Jazz, I have no idea how to find him tho. So you mentioned Legacy Laser Cycle and didn't brought up Rotb Mirage? Weird, but ok My ultimate Jazz would be the RTS Jazz, but Ebay/the seller sucks so I'm waiting 3 months for the delivery already.
The cute Jazz is a gashopon prize. You could try places like Mandarake or Hobby Link Japan, but it’s actually getting hard to find any Q-Transformers online. I thought about mentioning ROSB Mirage, but the video was already really long. Besides, Mirage will have a video eventually, and he doesn’t have anywhere near as many toys as Jazz. Also, best of luck with the eBay stuff! I know your pain, it was like pulling teeth to get a Movie Cliffjumper I bought off someone.
Thanks, I live in Europe and I bought the RTS Jazz from some Canadian goofball that after 2 months of issues and weird shenanigans forgot to send it. "🤦♂️" So yeah, different continent issue and different mindset issue
