In this video I'll be taking you to the Margaritaville Resort located on the beautiful flamingo beach here in Guanacaste Costa Rica. I recently learned that due to covid the Riu no longer provides day passes for people who only want the all inclusive experience for a day or for those who simply can't afford to stay because the prices are so expensive. So due to that I started looking around for more all inclusive places and happened upon the Margaritaville resort.

I had no idea that they were all inclusive or that they gave day passes for locals and people on a budget, so I was more than excited to find a great all inclusive resort that was not only very close to where we live but also we love the flamingo beach area (a bit expensive but beautiful).

Loving the hotel reviews...I saw your HGTV spot before moving here... I'm a fan... you've given me a few places to either visit or recommend.... I would like to see you add overall pricing for overnight stays, along with room options... or links to pricing... and maybe advise, best times of the year (and week) to get resort deals on pricing. Many thanks for the reviews and for notifying us of day passes... I'm part of the ballin on a budget club... 😉🤟✌💞 P.S. these hotel reviews, look like a TV show in the making, I love your production

I'm booked to go to Costa Rica in April, was booked into the Riu but panicked because the reviews were getting worse by the day. So I've now change my booking to the Margaritaville and I'm so glad i have. The beach looks amazing.

There are things to do in Flamingo, which is where the resort is. You can walk around but it's basically one long strip with the beach on one side and restaurants on the other. If you want to walk around and go on adventures, Tamarindo is the place for you. Margaritaville was amazing but for adventure and walk throughs Tamarindo has everything you need. I suggest you stay at Margaritaville but when you want to get out and explore... go to Tama! Hope this helps 🤙🏽

Does the hotel have any trips throughout the city or countryside that they plan or sponsor?

Good question. . . Most of the hotels offer outings for guests to venture out and explore the country while they vacation. Probably goin to be expensive though. Hope it helps

For a first time cr trip y’all reccomed the Westin or Margaritaville ? Y’all seemed to like both. More wildlife at the Westin ? Beach seen more private there ?

I loved Margaritaville but for the 1st time trip... the Westin is the one! The JW Marriott was a close close second though. All 3 are 🔥 but the Westin and JW on another level. Check out the video on the JW so you can see what to expect. 🤙🏽

Just a bit concerned about the roaches… but the Westin seemed to have the best wildlife just chillin around ? Stay safe, keep up the great work.
