Her understanding is really good. She reads and writes about as well as most Indians or southeast Asians who deal mainly in English for business but don't speak it in their households. The only thing she really has a lot of trouble with is her heavy Kansai accent, and that's only when she's the one doing the speaking.

Yeah true. Just let her play and enjoy the game by herself. They all just kept on crying since Marine didn’t get to see all the references they wanted her to see lmao.
@@phantomy2034 This is what happen when your chat has no moderation at all, unlike Twitch chats which constantly monitored by moderators. I hope that they’ll be streaming there soon. We’ve got Pekora already but looks like she already gave up.
@@guy2908 It’s not like I don’t understand them. But it just gets annoying after seeing it happen so many times. Just let the streamers play and if they want to complete it, they’ll do it. If not, just leave it at that. Don’t try to force them to complete a game they’re not interested in completing just because you want them to.
Oh, that's what the fail where Ellie and Henry crash into the rocket and get stuck in the ground is referencing? I've always wondered where that fail came from
Probably just the delay in chat. The fortnite and apex comments were referring to "Where we dropping boys" which became a meme in the battle royale games
I will never have enough time to watch full streams, so I really appreciate these. I also only understand English, so the subtitles help a lot! Thank You!! Edit: This was very fun to watch!!
So... Gura, Pekora, Fubuki, Subaru, Kanata, Marine, Korone, Miko, Reine, Ollie and Roberu have played it with Risu still to continue. Only Gura, Ollie, Reine, Fubuki and Korone have seen every main option in the game, while the others have only seen either some or half of the more interesting options/endings. Subaru and Roberu are yet to play CtM. Any other fact to add here?
5:10 i mean to be fair... if you just watched a dude catch a bullet and throw it back at the person who fired it, i kinda figure thatd scare most people, armed or not.
I don't know what it is, but her voice is really enjoyable to hear, as is her laugh. I can definitely understand her popularity. Also, I've watched a lot of streamers and VTubers play this, but no one seems to get the Wallace and Gromit reference with the robo legs (it's from "The Wrong Trousers").
17:19 Ok so I'm gonna assume that no one got Mariner's Vegeta reference here. (Or maybe some of you did get it but just didn't feel like mentioning it somehow 😐)
there are other compilations that show her explaining it, it's basically really really formal japanese that you'd only use when you respect someone a lot so to hear it over a jojo reference scene is very funny to japanese people
Its worse than google translate its essentially gibberish, if you watch other jp reactions it usually takes a few sentences for them to realize its supposed to be japanese
@@add-5 it's meant to spoof how a lot of early English translations of the actual _JoJo_ comics were done by Chinese students who didn't speak English or Japanese and thought they could just take directly from a JP-EN dictionary. One of the other endings even references a specific line from their botched version.
kinda wished you could just censor that comment section, backseaters are so infuriating like, i watched Marine for her gameplay, not for a fricking walkthrough tysm for the compilation anyway
Well, at the core of it all, they just wanna see her reaction to everything that happens in the game and i definitely get that tho people need to realise overly policing people's gameplay will just make the experience worse for the player. I usually try to nudge a streamer in the right way and if I catch myself getting frustrated enough to start spamming or being annoying that's a good spot to give up and either leave or just enjoy the stream for what it is. It's a mark of a good game for fans to get that invested in the first place, but it's also quite sad that some people will have a bad experience bc the fanbase couldn't control themselves.
