The Marlene Dietrich Collection Berlin 1997 

The city of Berlin bought the Marlene Dietrich collection (100,000 possessions) in 1993 for $5 million. The Museum für Film und Fernsehen would exhibit a part of this collection.
The museum still had to be build, so they decided that you could visit the collection once or twice a month on appointment. I was living in Berlin at that time and took the amazing opportunity to wonder around this unique collection.
