PIANO MUSIC ending tbe S AND B is perfect/ spiritual way to end. BRAVO!!!

My heart breaks for Lingyi. He's been married once before and has several concubines but has never once been in love. It's a shame that his mother's main forcus has been to rebuild the family line through him. She doesn't really care if he's happy or not just as long as he reproduces to ensure the future of the Xu family. She supplied him with numerous concubines even though he objected/he lived a miserable existence until Shiyi entered his life. When he admitted to never feeling like this it really hit home how much he endured to save the family. He took on a huge responsibility at such a young age. His mother was only concerned about rebuilding the family's line of descendants. She didn't care if he was happy. She only cared about the Xu family name. I feel so bad for him having to deal with a mother who cares more about status than she does her own son. I love Shiyi's brother. He tried to cover for her but it was too late. Lingyi was already suspicious so it wasn't going to change no matter what he said to him. It's funny how he chose to follow her instead of asking her for the truth. Now he gets to see what's in his wife's heart. This will open his eyes just a little bit more/he will have a better understanding of her.

Unlike other dramas where male lead is clever and female is stupid and childish, this drama is very different. This drama shows that the female lead can be brave and clever while being kind and empathetic. She is a strong independent woman who trusts and loves her husband dearly as well as supports him. There are no unnecessary misunderstanding.. must watch drama and you won't regret it. Name : Sword and the brocade.
