@@josefigueroa7035 the problem with the people is that they want every movie like avengers endgame and infinity war they do not think that these movies were the final movies to end the marvel phase . If marvel is not currently making the movies like these then the people like you start saying that marvel is finished. Marvel is making these movies to setup the Kang dynasty and secret war .
@@adityatyagi4752but the movies leading up to endgame and infinity war were better too. Repeating the same formula every time is too bad. The seriousness with which Civil War ended, the struggle to overcome differences in first Avengers, the rare threat to existence... Made those movies and phases special. Now everything is a threat to universal existence in Marvel and everything ends quite well. There is no true visible build-up after Loki S1 except for post credit scenes which are more like Easter Eggs instead of plot points. That's why there's a mass hatred towards Marvel's new stuff nowadays.

what about Inhumans ? because as far as MCU released things now , its the only project where Nearly all main characters including Maximus and Black Bolt were given nothing likeable, Royal family except Maximus supported Slavery , Maximus despite being able to rule Attilan peacefully while eradicating slavery and discrimination at last ep wanted to conquer world and Black Bolt , the King who has destructive sonic scream was given 2 way communicator, Medusa threatens a woman to drive while she is already driving and scared not to mention Karnak who falls forward , bumps his head and loses his extrasensory ability to perceive stress points, fracture planes, or weaknesses in objects or persons (achieved through meditation and intensive training in comics) and becomes Marijuana farmer, Maximus died and Royal family goes on their way like they used to
@@ryanmathis8286For the Marvels to defeat them, right? They are literally pulling another Rise of Skywalker if so. Why you ask? Because Vader killed the Emperor and fulfilled his role as the Chosen One and what happens? He "somehow" returned. For them to introduce a Villain for them to continue Thanos’ work, that’s quite literally the same thing, just different franchises. Thanos’ work died with him in Endgame and nothing can change that.
It really wasn't. Plus, this movie wasn't even that awful. It's not like the Infinity Saga always had great films. Plus, there's lots of stuff after Endgame that was great and is really loved. Like Moonknight, BP2, What If...? Season 1, TFATWS, What If...? Season 2, Spider-Man Far From Home, Wandavision, Werewolf By Night, The GOTG Holiday Special, Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings, Loki Season 1, Spider-Man No Way Home, GOTG Vol. 3, Loki Season 2, and etc.

Honestly that sounds like you are in a bit of a toxic relationship with "all the negativity I hope to experience". Go see the film, it's fine. I thought it was a much better (and more coherent) Captain Marvel film than the first one.
@@rprince418 people don’t phrase it like that, like ever, that’s not proper English… lmao also endgame came out in April, is it April yet? 😂 So no it hasn’t been five years that comment was posted awhile ago and they said “nearly” hence, incorrect
I think this is how we meet the Eternals again. That person kind of looked like Mekari in an updated suit. Maybe its Ripley Ryan or Star, and this is an introduction to the Thunderbolts. The red and white with gold accents really looks like her suit.
I love the part when Nick Fury Junior says, "I've seen things you people wouldn't believe... Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion... I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain... Time to die." Literally shaking. Oh, wait, no.. he says, "Black Girl Magic.." nevermind.
Also the end of the trailer is clickbait, implies some secret heroes join the battle at the end. Doesn't happen. The hidden figure is Valkryie halfway through the movie and she doesn't join the fight, just takes some skrull refugees with her
I thought you were joking but no he really says that JFC I imagine that's what Kevin Feige said to Bob Iger too when he saw an early preview and was like 'how the hell is this not gonna bomb?' Kevin: BLACK GIRL MAGIC
Now this is what I call constructive critique not just complaining but actually giving a good reason why, while simultaneously telling us how to make it more appealing👍🏻. I would love to have a reason to root more for her as well
Nia DaCosta's IMDB page the director of this movie has a video on her prifile which says "creating cinematic tention" the only tension she creates is between the audience and Marvel.
This reminds me of She Hulk. The first trailer emphasized the silly humor (and bad CGI), and it underwhelmed fans; so they released another trailer that was better received. That one made it seem more like something MCU fans might expect- less goofy, and with She Hulk interacting more with other superheroes. It turned out the first one was the accurate one. Now we have The Marvels, with an enormous change in tone between the trailers, one silly and one serious. Which one is like the movie? I'll point out the tone in this new one relies heavily on scenes from other movies.
The fact that they need to deceive fans by using scenes from characters that don't even feature in the movie speaks volumes. Last year Marvel/Disney lost nearly one billion creating movies with the sole purpose of replacing men with women trying to act like them, and they keep banging their heads on the wall with same recipe of proven failure. This movie is shaping up to be yet another one of these so called "flopbusters", and the press is preparing to lie once more to people as to why those failures keep happening
Black girl magic he had to yell at her. Def a goofy movie. The heros have no self esteem and don't believe in them selfs. However they want an audience to believe and buy into it. Shaping up like a masterpiece.
I'm not sure which of the three heroes I like better, the one who shoots lights out of her hands or the one who shoots lights out of her hand...or the one who shoots lights out of her hands.
This is a super interesting marketing pivot. Just a couple weeks ago there was an interview with the director where she said this movie was gonna be a silly goofy wacky time, and the first couple of trailers really played up the lightness of the tone. Then they drop this a few days before release and it's a totally different tone and direction. Now it's a continuation of the Endgame story and they try to lure people with those opening shots of Iron Man and Cap. You can smell it in the air; they know this one's about to bomb and they're scrambling trying to do damage control. I think this movie will be pretty forgettable, but it's going to give a fascinating insight into the MCU's problems. Can't wait for it to come out, but for none of the reasons Marvel intended.
At the end of the trailer (near the end, I couldnt even watch the whole trailer) they did use the stupid, unfunny jokes. Not knowing what ur trying to be the week of release is such a good sign!
It went badly because the movie was a badly made reboot. Why do you think this movie, which is not a reboot, and happens to have several female leads, is remotely comparable to that?
@@fuckshan it's not they didn't have enough original content to fill up the time frame of the movie so they using flashbacks. the flashbacks are just fillers.
It seemed strange to me when they talked about another reality, and I wonder if there will be any reference to the multiverse here as well. I preferred they didn't spoil Valkyrie, but otherwise this trailer is the best released so far, I wonder why they didn't use this as the official trailer, even if it was a bit too much of a show

Im not trying to look like a marvel Stan or something but if I where you I would give it a chance, honestly it’s actually good. I too wasn’t going to watch it in theaters, but now that I have, I didn’t regret it. OBVIOUSLY it isn’t the best MCU movie, not even top 15, but it was really fun to watch, it felt like an old MCU movie for me. It had a pretty interesting plot and great characters. They develop Cap. Marvel into being a likable character for the first time. Kamala is great, and the chemistry between the three of them is perfect. Solid VFX and a lot of big and important MCU connection (not only post credit scenes) throughout the whole movie about 6 or 7 phase four and five projects where connected (not just Easter eggs but ACTUAL connections. This is just my opinion, still good if you don’t wanna watch it, but if you do I am pretty sure you won’t regret it. It doesn’t deserve any of the hate it gets.
The part where Captain Marvel punched the villain and said "Marvel at this!" I got literal chills! So stunning and brave! OMG I literally cannot wait until this movie comes out!
Agreed. I have nothing against this movie and I’ll surely watch it, but I only go to theaters maybe 1-2 a year. I just simply prefer my home entertainment system. Last few years especially just seems like movies are blurry especially on the edges in 4 different theaters I went to.

Why does someone need to look like Thanos to be a threat? Why are you so narrow minded and expect every project to pander to stereotypical straight male appeals?
If one thing that seems quite cool to me is how they leave the terrestrial theme more, to better set everything in the intergalactic part. And the effects look very good. And I hope that this film can be very good and not as they are cataloging it.

lol... It's NOT. They've been predicting ridiculously low box office numbers for months now because it's going to be crap. The only question is: Will it be WORSE than BLUE BEETLE? 🤔
I saw this movie yesterday (wasn't going to, but my dad bought tickets). Here's the recap of what went wrong (some spoiler-ish details included): - Even though I knew the gist of the film, the beginning of the movie was difficult to follow (my husband felt the same). It was disorienting. Some better editing could have fixed that, but I was a tad lost, which took me out of movie as I struggled to figure out if a significant amount of time had passed or not with the characters. I think you will be even more lost if you never watched the trailer. - You will not recognize Nick Fury. They wrote him as weak, bumbling, unaware, and saying a bunch of cheesy one-liners. - A short scene with another well-established character making a cameo is also written very strangely; she sounded like a fortune cookie. - Captain Marvel has a moment where she doesn't even think about if Ms. Marvel can fly as she trades places with her in the air. Kamala could have DIED. Major fail and made her look like a total jerk. And Kamala's not even upset about it because, ya know, Captain Marvel is her hero and can do no wrong. (How it Should Have Ended, I hope you make a video about this, lol.) - The main villain (her name escapes me; I tried to pick it up from the dialogue, but it's just a very forgettable name, I guess?) - she does some really deep voice to make herself sound menacing, but it sounds forced and she just doesn't have the gravitas of a villain. At one point, I thought she was married to the guy that was her commander or something because they discuss a son, but that actually turns out to be a SUN, not a son. Got a little lost on that dialogue there. Whatever voice she tried to do was so weird, it's hard to understand what she's saying sometimes. - The whole thing with the Skrull was confusing to me until I just re-read it on Wikipedia. I legit came away from the movie thinking she just got revenge on the Skrull, then went on her way to completing what she was actually after on the other planets. Totally missed that she stole something from that planet. - Ms. Marvel's fangirl vibe about Captain Marvel is cute for a short time, but gets incredibly annoying as the movie progresses. - There's a very Disney-like planet they go to with lots of singing. Some people might find it funny; I felt like I had clearly left Marvel and gone into some other universe. - The ending would fit a whole lot better in a Guardians movie. While I actually love the concept of how they evacuated, it just felt so out of place with these characters. Certain things just don't work across the board. Goofy, crazy stuff works great with Guardians. Forcing Nick Fury to become a goofy character? Ugh. I turned to my husband during the credits and said, "I bet you this was written and directed by a bunch of women." My aunt and my dad's girlfriend agreed with me. Sure enough, it was. Just imagine a Hallmark movie blended with Power Rangers. The end credits scene is boss, though.
A movie so terrible the people Disney was pandering to didn't buy tickets😆 Seriously a pile of dung has more screen presence and personality than Brie Larson
I had 2 tickets for the Marvels in my car. Someone broke in and left 10 more. Crime is getting out of control here, hope we get a region-4 Punisher soon.
So yeah, we're definitely getting some X-Men stuff, right? Cause of Kamala and the opening to another reality or whatever? Like the beginning of Secret Wars with incursions between different worlds happening. Would make sense as to how they're fitting in Deadpool 3 in there and the Fantastic 4 eventually as well.
