Digital media artist, Ameera (A.E. Godwin) describes these images as a fusion of face and sketch, a shared exercise in “being seen”, revealing qualities or ourselves that others might not typically see.
This collaborative art project was a culmination of the Big Ideas Fest 2018 opening session centered on an experiential activity in revealing aspects of our authentic selves, facilitated by Ashanti Branch and the Ever Forward Club (everforwardclub.org).

An artist based in Northern California, Ameera creates intersecting compositions using digital image processing, as well s physical works using pencil, paint, mixed media, and found objects. Also a videomaker, Ameera creates layered still image and time-based projections that are integrated with musical and theatrical performances.
