Yes I will wanted to see them at Indian Ranch and missed but saw them at esplanade on tv I love the Mavericks and Raul my favorite singer so sad to hear I am north of Boston please 🙏 a speedy healthy recovery 🙏 and come to Salisbury Beach Hampton Beach Beach concert halls next!
Raul Malo is a legend! His tone & projection of those great vocals. not enough recognition for his talent. Check out his Roy Orbison covers of 'Crying' & 'In Dreams & close your eyes...(only other singer that close to Roy O. is K.D. Lang.)
Wilbur 🤗🎶Their energy is incredible and they really know how to engage an audience. Apple Music categorizes the Mavericks as Country Music, but I think -like so many of our independent artists- that their music transcends all categorization and is simply GREAT music❤ Thanks for listening Wilbur 😊
@AmyKaribian I see them as an almost orchestral group with an operatic singer based on the long tradition of Tex Mex with that German influence. Their's is an incredible and complex music.It's the best description I can give. I have loved them since the first time I heard them decades ago. I can only imagine how good The Mavericks are in concert, but, your posts give me a good idea of that.
Listening to them makes me happy and so chill. Watching Raul makes me smile because you can tell he is just enjoying what he does so much. Wonderful, wonderful talent, all of them. can’t believe I just found this band, but I’m glad I did.
