@@stalker7892 Saw them just over a week ago after seeing Raul do his yearly solo show at a local winery. It was the first time I saw the full band - it won't be the last, they are AMAZING.
I remember driving up to Queensland thru the middle of NSW and stopping for petrol at a whistle stop town. I saw their tape on a rack and i thought they were Australian band.I wish! that was in the late 80s. Loved them ever since. His voice is like no other I have heard. Just so good it gives me goose bumps.
I am blown away every time I hear him sing. He is also an entertainer--- the whole band is, too. I can be sad, and listen to their music and I am happy again.
Who ever disliked this voice, has no idea what great music is! I have been of fan of this group for a many year. Thank you for sharing this great video. Loved it
@@Whysicist It's taken me a few years to realize why I love my computer - the music and being able to watch the GREAT singers I have loved for a long time - (and the ones who are gone - RIP)! What a great voice Raul Malo has, with or without the Mavericks. And what a swinging band. He's as adept doing latin music as classic country, singing popor rock; you name it, he hits it out of the park.

Here I am again, perving on the Drummer of the Mavericks. I should know better but he is soooo Handsome 🥰 Excellent music boys. A masterpiece. ( am a widow now but back in the day, hubby would buy me a cd every birthday & he grabbed this album & played it loudly & as I got closer to the music, I couldn't help myself. Started dancing around the garden & scared off the wild king parrots & rainbow lorikeets. Thankyou Mavericks for adding sunshine to our lives 💛).
My boyfriend broke up with me in 1970 for another girl & said he didn't want to settle down. We got back together in 1971 & have now been married 52 years. I knew he was the one. This song fits us perfectly.
I don't understand how some are not familiar with the great Mavericks and Raul Malo....they are great band ...they have a great sound and good songs, including covers in English/Spanish and good harmony .
These guys are absolutely my favorite band of all times. Raul has a magnificent voice and they are all terrific. I need to go to one of their concerts. On my bucket list!

Only discovered this band recently, what a blast! Great music by real musicians who all look like they enjoy themselves just playing - much better than the modern "music" about now. Brilliant and always makes me do my "dad dancing"!!
Saw the Mavericks in Johnson City Tennessee at Blue Plum festival a few years ago...they were the headliner and put on a great show...everybody in the crowd was dancing and singing to every song..Raul is a top-notch pro..Jerry Dale is a lot of fun..and overall an awesome experience. .if u ever get a chance to check them out..trust me...u won't be disappointed. .jamie h. Raul has an amazing voice. I saw them in concert. In NH. At the stage. My take is, Eddie Perez is great at harmonizing with Raul. Nothing less than outstanding. Great musicians and showmanship ! You can’t not dance to these dudes. Thanks for the drum sticks Paul ! Maybe the best concert I’ve ever seen. And as a musician, I’ve seen many.
Their music is an absolute musical blessing to the world! True musicians in sweet harmony. Simply outstanding. A true in synch band. To hear them live is quite a breath taking experience that makes you sing, dance, and live the night away! 🤙🏽🙏🏽
If you don't follow the rules, and stay in your lane, in the music world, this is what happens! One of the most talented bands to ever exist never got the fame they deserved! They're too versatile! I swear Raul Malo can cover any song ever placed in front of him, and sometimes outshine the original artist! I love these guys, and I hope that someday they'll get that recognition!
Oh, I’m so with you there Vicky!! One of the best musical groups, ever, around, in my era!! I still love and follow these guys! As do, my husband and my kids, who are now adults, but still love these guys! They have such good memories, of us playing the Mavericks cd, on our first villa holiday, back in 2010! Jeez, those were the days, and we still listen to the Mavericks, on any holiday, even though, we can’t afford the fancy accommodation, anymore! Lol 😂 ! Mavericks, are our group, 100% and we will, all, always love and support them! Just for the memories! XX
I definitely agree. Wasn't really sure about the Mavericks until I got What a crying shame CD. And I am pretty sure that Tonight the bottle let me down. Is a cover but they kick ass on that song, the video is great. Just a great group of incredibly talented musicians having fun.
Agree 100%. They do fantastic covers of songs to break up the evening. The guys are all smiling at each other. The keyboardist dances so well. What a gift to offer the world such hope and joy.
I cannot believe that, at the time I’m writing this, there are 2.2k people who have disliked this song. They must have no musical sense whatsoever and no joy in their hearts. Just about everything that the Mavericks compose and/or perform brings a smile to my face and, occasionally, a tear to my eye. If anyone can identify a poor track by the Mavericks please let me know!

What an amazing group. Raul has a great voice. This style is so fun and easy to dance to and I walk 5 miles a day to this song. Great beat. Love it. Thanks.👍♥️👍
OMG what a dynamic sound, harmony.....orchestration......execution. These guys can do it all, pay attention to how all the instruments get featured and come together. In my humble opinion these guys deserve all the credit they get, they are without a doubt fantastic.
Great Band and a superb song. Always getting in a good mood when I listen to it or watch the video. Raul's voice and the drummers performance are outstanding.
