"Sabor a Mi"...recorded live on Raul's balcony during our recent Sandy Beaches Cruise. Enjoy! www.themavericksband.com / themavericksmusic / mavericksmusic
@@arthurchavez4516 I also like the original version . But there's also versions that people put their feelings into it. So I also enjoy all the versions out there.
I love his voice in Spanish or English! You can't label Raul Malo or his band with a genre of music. His sound encompassing so many styles, but I can say that his voice is timeless. Love it.
Whenever I need a fast vacation, I turn the balcony cruise sessions on and sit down with a tasty glass of wine and pretend I'm there. It looks likes such a carefree time! Thanks for the videos. Love The Mavericks!!!
I wanted to hear this song, and found this version. Very nice! I'm a big fan of the old bolero type sound from the greats like Ben More and Roberto Faz. Thank you !
No es por nada hombre, pero mi mujer quería bailar con tu rendición de este clásico. Gracias por una noche tan feliz. Saludo de un Chileno no tan lejos.... U
My first trip to Guadalajara with my mom in 1982-ish, her childhood friend, an attorney, had the Mariachi band serenade me at our dinner table with this song 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Only just found these Balcony Cruise Sessions videos. Two comments: 1) Man, I was I'd been there, and 2) these songs, unplugged just like they are, would have made one hell of a great album. This song is a killer!
Sabor a mí Taste of me So much time we enjoy this love Tanto tiempo disfrutamos de este amor Our souls came so close Nuestras almas se acercaron tanto así That I keep your flavor Que yo guardo tu sabor But you also carry Pero tu llevas también Taste of me Sabor a mí If you deny my presence in your life Si negaras mi presencia en tu vivir Just hug and talk Bastaría con abrazarte y conversar So much life I gave you Tanta vida yo te di That by force you already have Que por fuerza tienes ya Taste of me Sabor a mí I do not intend to be your owner No pretendo ser tu dueño I am nothing I do not have vanity No soy nada yo no tengo vanidad From my life I give the good De mi vida doy lo bueno I'm so poor, what else can I give Soy tan pobre, que otra cosa puedo dar It will be more than a thousand years, many more Pasarán más de mil años, muchos más I do not know if I have love eternity Yo no sé si tenga amor la eternidad But there, as here Pero allá, tal como aquí In the mouth you will take En la boca llevarás Taste of me Sabor a mí I do not intend to be your owner No pretendo ser tu dueño I am nothing I do not have vanity No soy nada yo no tengo vanidad From my life I give the good De mi vida doy lo bueno I'm so poor, what else can I give Soy tan pobre, que otra cosa puedo dar It will be more than a thousand years, many more Pasarán más de mil años, muchos más I do not know if I have love eternity Yo no sé si tenga amor la eternidad But there, as here Pero allá, tal como aquí In the mouth you will take En la boca llevarás Taste of me Sabor a mí
Pasarán más de mil años muchos más. yo no sé si tenga amor la eternidad pero allá, tal como aquí en la boca llevarás sabor a mí... More than a thousand years may pass, much more I don't know if love exists in eternity But, there, just as here, on your lips you'll always carry, a trace of me....
somebody help a brother out! This is the best version of this song, but cant figure out the chords - help!! Amazing performance and such a beautiful rendition, by the way....
I'm totally with you on that. I've watched this video over and over trying to figure out what Raul is playing but I'm stumped. I'd love to be able to play this. This song, this version - one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. I go to this video when I'm feeling really up and, yeah, when I'm feeling really down. Helps in both cases.
From what I can remember it goes kinda like this Intro Eb dim - E m7 - C7 - A7 - D - E m7 - F# m7 - F dim - E m7 - A7 - D And it just repeats there until you hit the chorus Preparation for chorus D - A7 - D Chorus (No pretendo) A m7 - D7 - A m7 - D7 - G - B m7 - G - B m7 - G - B m7 - E7 - B m7 - E7 - A - G - A7 Then back to the intro chords. Hope this helps ! Lmk if you get confused
@@lambadaking no brotha I wish haha! I play mariachi and this song is a constant request. So I can play it in basically any key and from looking at the horn player and the guitar I knew it was in D! Normally for male it’s in G but they brought it up a little and Singed it an octave low
