The Mayans were right, the world did end in 2012, we just didn't know it yet. 2012 was when the Clathrate Gun started firing. The Mayans didn't expect that governments would use Chemtrails to prolong our demise. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ytpLRY-qXdI.html
Every kid in my science class that day got extra credit for turning in their homework even if it wasn't complete just because the teacher was thankful we showed up. There were only 8 or 9 people in each class that day.
i remember kids in my class saying stuff like ''whats the point, we are all gonna die anyways'' and ''we should spent the last days we have with our families'' to the teacher, with a geniune tone and look. i was the kid that never talked so i didn't say anything but i thought they were really stupid for actually believing in it
They weren’t wrong. They said the old world that we’re used to is gonna die and we’re in a new kind of world. Technology and social media changed the entire world by store. 2011 only 15% of people had a smart phone while now almost everyone has one in their pocket
The development and proliferation of cell phones didn't end the old world, it just upgraded a small part of it. It's no different than the spread of the internet in the 1990s, television in the 1960s, or electricity in the early 20th century. Evolution of technology (and therefore society) works like evolution of life - small, gradual changes over stretches of time. It's never abruptly ends the previous state, just tweaks parts of it over time.
@@Zandorex. have you seen the gaming industry? almost every game comes out incomplete and trash. everything has micro-transaction and most of our entertainment industry is total garbage. even things we bought and own aren't even ours.
Can't believe he was sooooo wrong. He kept saying "oh the world isn't gonna end". And you know what hank, it did. It's been almost 2 years and I'm almost out of batteries. The zombies are almost into my room. I've decided to watch this as my last video. Comment with what the last thing you all would like to do would be.
your both wrong, the world ended on January 1st, 2000, at 12:00 A.M. when I was almost one year old. A zombie wolf took me as an infant and raised me. I then became a zombie-killing-badass for the rest of my life and I eventually came across a library of books on things like electronics and computers and other things, after about a year in practice I made this computer. Also it turns out that Google made it so that all of it's servers can run for thousands of years.
Thanks Hank that was really interesting! Didn't know there could be a youtube channel I like more than the vlogbrothers, but scishow really does it for me! Keep em coming!
dancing elephant I remember that day. It was my birthday. And everyone believed that I was going to end the world with an atomic bomb. All the cake for me :)
I can't believe I have been in Mexico on january, at the anthropological museum and wasn't able to find anyone that explained me this! though this time i'm not taking an exam about it, thanks Hank, you've saved me again!
okay so rn its summer 2019 and i saw this conspiracy theory thing saying that we switched dimensions cuz like everything is coming back from 2012. minecraft is popular again, psy is coming back, dan and phil fans came outta nowhere, vsco girls are tumblr girls, egirls and eboys are pretty much just knock off emos, the jonas brothers are back, toy story 4, old music has been playing on the radio, just nothing feels right
If you actually understand the mayan calender you will see that they predicted an 80 year window between 1960-2040 when the winter solstice aligns perfectly to the sun, currently we are going through this transitional stage.
Although the world didn't end in 2012, I do often find myself feeling as though we're living in a "bad future." Like somebody traveled back in time, and changed something they weren't supposed to change, and we're living in a timeline that wasn't supposed to happen.
Hello person from 5 years ago! I bet you were a teenager when you wrote this. I bet you have a family of your own now. I bet you have kids. I bet you think this reply is weird
2021 person here, this theory is kind of stupid, 3 billion people all dreaming at the same time? This theory is pretty random and has no scientific facts to back this up (Or i might be stupid and this theory is a joke), no one knows if you dream when you die because obviously they are dead, you cant do anything when youre dead, your brain is not functioning so this cant be possible. But it would be pretty trippy if it was true which fortunately is not the case.
I freak out a bit back then,I was still on 5th grade or something and I watch tv ppl talking about the end of the world, and I was like "I'm too young too die!,there is so many thing that I want to do" feel a bit ashamed now
ok I was like 7 years old when I was first told by one of my friends that "the world is going to end in 4 years. I was terrified and asked my parents about it in which they laughed a lectured me for an hour on how that's not possible.
Same, but I remember people talking about it when I was in the 4th or 5th grade when I was 9 or 10 years old. I got more paranoid towards that date, I was almost 13 when the world was supposed to end. I'm glad it didn't because now I'm 19. My parents did kind of lecture me about how the world wasn't going to end that year.
3:22 "Spanish Crown reinforced its garrison in Pueto Ricco". That would be bad news for the Maya wasn't it? It's the Spanish conquistador who actually put an end to Mayan Civilization XD
The Maya are still around, at lease descendants are. Also the civilization that they created had not existed before even the Spaniards had come to the Americas.
The western cosmology ended. It took 7 years for everyone to catch up though. Well some are still sleeping of course. The end of this year will mark 7 years. Hindsight is 2020
Well i know the world will not end in 2012, because i am from the future and i saw it happen. The world not ending in 2012. Better yet i only heard this paranoid stuff in late december.
