In the "MC5 in Ten," Dennis "takes it all off" in ten minutes. (Burma Shave type drum beat sound)
From the MC5's beginning to the sad demise in 1972. They were meteoric, shooting stars, and one of the tightest bands ever. They kicked 'em until they got kicked. This covers the journey from Drummer Dennis Thompsons seat on the five's meteoric ride.
But wait:... there’s more!
This release includes a a never before released recording of the MC5 LIVE on-stage playing together at their prime: "I believe."
Detroit's MC5 quintet sparked a musical engine with unique power, force, and rhythm. A good example is Rob and the band in the LIVE “I believe” on stage performance in the recording following the interview.
These guys had fire between them on stage and, as Dennis will tell you, off stage too.
The MC5 created a unique musical sound that was inspiring to Punk artists. Dennis has a lot to say about Punk in an upcoming MC5 Secrets interview.
