Ang ganda ng mga quotable quotes: "We tend to demonize ourselves." "We're really a traumatized nation." "We're survivors. Madiskarte tayo." "We're tiptoeing out of the ashes." "Papunta na tayo sa exciting part." Salamat sa balitaktakan at inspirasyon. Despite all their flaws and brokenness, I will bet on the Pinoy-on ourselves.
Kahit na seryoso ang topic , may halong patawa...hinfi nakakabahot pakingggan...thanks to you guys
Listen to the show too! I love how Red lets his guests talk in length about the topic at hand and then add something that can make the guest feel welcome and speak more.
Tama, don't dumb down the discussions! Elevate the people!
Richard, you're not Ilocano per se but a mixed race with predominantly Persian identity. That mixed race external persona is what helped push you to a higher pedestal in comparison to Austronesian Filipinos. That gives you an edge, a leg up, less insecurities and higher self confidence in comparison to other Kababayan. Let's call a spade a spade bro. That being said, you're one of the few people that I admire in the Philippine scene. I wish there are millions of your type in and out of the country. Yes, I do have Persian friends and tbh an ex too. I understand your mindset, more or less and we share similar passion about the country. BTW, I'm an Ilonggo born and raised so thanks for mentioning about the difference in governance, city and province. Panay island has wider flat plains in terms of geography. It mold the culture, making it more egalitarian since people move easier between towns in comparison to hilly and mountainous regions in other 7000 islands. It's Balkanization to the extreme. 👍
Though maka Du30 ako 2016 til now. Mas gusto ko Ang check and balance insights ni Richard . Kudos sayo prof
Main characteristic of a leader is capacity to implement. Their motive(s) and objective to serve. Maybe you guys interview these people who are planning to run. Expose their souls, intent, main goals how they can help in the progress of the PH. If not, then delays and distractions will again slow down , the continuity stops or forgotten and end up going backwards instead of forward.
May I request that the name of the guest be included in the video title? Some of us don't recognize the guests, and there wasn't a formal intro at the beginning of this video. And there was no lower third text identifying the guest. Aside from that, I appreciaten this podcast! I love the humor and witty conversations around the pains of politics and just Pinoy life at present.
The key to reach out to voters across the isle is to find a common ground and start there.
Harry Roque is the most "creative" Lawyer personality😂 He has the Ability to create TRUTH & 'seemingly' LIE, and which flow to go. The fact that he is one among our Brilliant Lawyers. The POGO issue being one of the main character😂, let us See Atty Roque's Path in this Issue, Let our Perspectives be Pointing to God's TRUTH 😊❤
I agree about the identity problem of many. Blame it to the long period of colonialism. I pray that balimbingan mentality fades away instead focus on how to positively contribute and help the current government to speed up the progress.
Very good perception about H Roque. Pampagulo is his job for some reason. Sayang matalino and articulate pa naman. Where is his loyalty, that is the question.
In the multiverse of Polical Infinity War, Harry Roque is "Loki"😆 Hope he finds his way to the truth that will really help our country not for personal agenda.
vico sotto once said ung sinabi ni Prof heydarian. maraming panahon❤para sa tiwaling nasa gobyerno pero little time para sa mga nasa gobyernong gumagawa ng mabuti.
Dati s roque mukhang matino naman noong una. At magaling sya.
not just in politics i think harry roque is more common now in common people. you can find the likes of him at the workplace at the school at the marketplace everywhere. truth strechers 😅
"Normalized ang balimbingan style". From my viewpoint, in the upper crust of Philippine society, political lines are easily crossed, but down in the grassroots, the political colors are very well defined. We remain steadfast in our choices which reflect our principles and our beliefs.
naku kalsada nga natin paulit ulit gawa sira gawa sira harapan pa nga ngayon kanina lang pag uwi ko last week di pa gngawa kasi matino pa ngayon binarag na 😂 hays highly suspicious practice of corruption lantaran... dai bukas lang natin mata kaso ano gagawin na hindi tayo ang babalikan wla? kaya we just let these things go... corruption thrives in the Philippines and Dynasty thrives because of the allowance of letting wrong things continue
We millennials didn't have much time for politics because we were a generation that got hit by 3 world financial crisis within our lifetime (so far) while also the largest generation demographically. There were too little jobs available for too many of us. In our formative adult years, we were too busy just trying to survive financially to even bother with a lot of things, let alone politics. We were really unlucky that way. We did develop a diverse skillset because of that but that's a different conversation.
Galing.
Been binge watching all the episodes while working... eto ata ang pinaka ayaw kong episode. ano be meron kay prof richard, magaling pero may pagka annoying. sa lahat ng interview nya ganyan siya. and I'm trying to make sense of what his saying on this interview, alam kong may subtsance pero I can sense also some BS. di siya fun kausap. maybe jumping from one topic to another? medyo sabog? I don't know.
