Previously thought to be extinct, a massive creature attacks a deep-sea submersible, leaving it disabled and trapping the crew at the bottom of the Pacific. @@hayden990 Yeah but actual whales in irl are dying too, from actual human doings. I think they brought up a good point like yeah it's just a production on screen but irl it hits different. These things actually die, mostly under unnatural circumstances in which we humans caused. This is just a shark eating a whale but the whale was dead by bombing, not so different by how we hunt fish in the sea by bombing which is illegal but hey people still do it.

By the time they would have noticed him or called the boat it would’ve been too late. Or if they used the ladder it still would’ve been too late. The Meg was already coming after the whale, likely not seeing Dwight on it. If they had seen him even a minute before the Meg get there and had time to use a ladder, the prehistoric fish would’ve bitten him AND the ladder, pulling them to their deaths as well. There was literally nothing they could do because even the boat had to GTFO and not have time to stop.

I mean, the guy that fell into the water wasn't too smart either. He probably should've taken the chance that the shark would choose the huge whale over a small human and swim away from the whale. You gotta love how the helicopter just fly's above and just watches him struggling to swim and doesn't try to help him nor inform the boat crew that they left him behind 😂
