Totally agree! I wish they would go back to this at some point. I saw them (melvins / big bussiness)… best show performance ever, mu jaw dropped every minute. Amazing musicians!!!
There should be a disclaimer on every album, (I still spin the black circle) or song stating the artist (subjective) is using Auto-tune. Only those of us with actual good taste in music would care though.
Dude I saw them perform Houdini live back when it came out in '93/4 at a Hollywood Palladium all ages club show. Gene Simmons from KISS sang Going Blind with them night before. Wish I were at that show but was Sold Out so they opened a night 2 for the show that I attended. Still very grateful that I was able to go to the show which I did. Obviously I'm still psyched about it, and moreso as the years went on.
Alex Heath For real man. This is my other youtube account called chucksbrain. I posted 2 videos of them live when I saw them live on July 1st. it was the BEST show i've ever been to. Check them out. I recorded Hag Me , The Water Glass and The Bit. Met Buzz after and gave him some of my music haha.
I saw them do that combo live when I was 13 and I didn’t know what the fuck was happening. I just stood there in awe. It sounded like the soundtrack to an earthquake in hell
No band exceed the level of this set! Melvins is just one of the most influential bands of all time, and one of the least recognized! These guys are masters! In a league of its own !!!
For all loyal Melvins fans (like myself) I would to recommend a band called KARP. The album? Suplex. They were around during the Melvins heyday and believe me, well worth checking out.
RedElephantStampede uh... you do realize that the bass player for karp is playing bass in this video, yes? jared warren is his name, and he played bass in karp, and big business (with coady willis, who’s the other drummer in this video), and him and coady were in melvins for many years. also, ALL of karp’s, and big business’, albums are great.
@@SecretGerms Correct you are! i have seen Karp live (they played with Cub that night, i think). And i have seen the Melvins, both when it was just Dale Crover, and i think it was during the tour this performance came from.
Man I would love to see Melvins with this lineup. I saw Melvins with the 2 bassist lineup, and Big Business by themselves, but not the Melvins/Big Business tg
Off topic from the Melvins... Just saw a review of raised by wolves... And still reminiscing about wildc.a.t.s sometimes. It's the chicken and the egg...
I was just gonna say I wish Buzz still played his Les Paul Custom's, but that clear body guitar with Travis Bean headstock ordeal is pretty fuckin amazing looking and sounding. 👀
