The Member of the Wedding is a 1982 network television movie which aired on December 20, 1982 that aired as a feature as part of "NBC's Live Theater."
The movie is based on the 1952 film of the same name directed by Fred Zinnemann based on the 1946 novel of the same name written by Carson McCullers.
Plot
Set in Georgia in 1945, the movie centers on a 12-year-old girl (Dana Hill) who is anticipating womanhood, but worries about losing her brother who is about to get married.
