Simons accent is very American after living and being in character so often I think. I’m Australian and I wouldn’t recognise it as an Aussie accent easily unless I knew to listen for it. He really enunciates the “r” in all his words. Where we really don’t at all unless they’re the very starting letter.

Are you kidding me? I watch it over and over and it's 2023! The ONLY reason the viewership went down is because they kept changing days and times it came on. That's what they do to shows when they want to get rid of them. We would love to have a re do of this show!

Actually they say he is kind and very prepared actor...he may be a perfectionist.....His character is a kind of tough guy who behind his mask he is hurting b/c of his wife/child's death..he feels responsible...I love his acting and watching his developing love for Lisbon...It's really a beautiful TV series..
