I love my EQS 580. I have had it for 3 months and enjoy every time I drive especially at night. The lighting is amazing. It feels like a much smaller car than it is and I love how heavy it feels. It reminds me of my first S Class that was a 1998 S430. That was an amazing car; way ahead of its day and the ride and drive was just amazing. And it is hard to find a more beautiful dash; feels like the future. If you drive it easy, it does get more range than the 340 miles. I purchased the Charge Point home charger and had the 50 AMP installed and the car charges at 30 miles per hour. Keep up the great work Mercedes.
I love my EQS 450+. While there are many functions available in the car, the easiest was to select them is to simply say Hey Mercedes! Even radio stations, say play FM 96.3 and it is done or change ambient lighting to blue, or turn on ventilated seat. Its all insanely easy.
I love my EQS SUV. However, Mercedes did miss a few practical things such as heated steering wheel, physical previous, next track buttons, etc. You can swipe to go to next track, but it’s just impractical. Anyways, you can’t have everything even at 100k price tag.
Two tips - heated steering wheel should automatically activate when you turn on your seat heater- odd it isn’t separate but mine seems paired (I get a notification that says the same when I turn on seat heater which is how i figured it out) For next track, the zero whatever interface for the map works great assuming you’re not using CarPlay or android auto and use the built in map
These journalists never answer the real questions. Like for example, every review I've seen of the EQS has only ever shown a hyper screen or whatever it's called. Yet when you go to configure your EQS on the configurator, there is no mention of the hyper screen anywhere and all the images show the standard S Class style screen.
@@vasilispoyiatzeas9137 that's what I'm saying, I checked the configurator and only the 450+ is showing as available in the UK for now and there isn't even an option for the hyperscreen.
I sincerely hope that 95% of this stuff is still being used regularly after the first few weeks... Otherwise it would be an utter waste of materials and resources, right?
Word of caution i just bought one and the biege footwell is a nightmare to keep clean i worry about the look in 12 months and the front driver seat is wearing after less than 200 miles. Had a ranage rover in biege no problem as only seats but footwells and rear boot is not a good idea.
