This is the best book I've ever read. Many on youtube told that it was predictable, but so are all feel-good movies, the romcoms, we know they are gonna have a happy ending but in no way, does it take away from the experience. I like your perspective.

What a perfect name: Seed! The seeds of ourselves are planted and raised in our first years of life by our primary caregiver plants. We have to understand the roots our depression so often come from being neglected, especially emotionally, as children.

Maybe you should think about writing your own story. There's something magical about the way you interpreted this book. It felt like 'you' had written it.

Thank you, you're very kind. I have written stories in the past, but nothing yet finished. I connected a lot with this book, more so than the others I've read

Thank you for your review, I'm glad you enjoyed your book! I subscribed because I really like your review style, it's informative but to the point, and you give a clear opinion. I personally thought the book was quite a letdown. SPOILERS The premise, as you said, was what got me interested - a liminal space where you can try out different lives? It sounded very interesting, but then the book kind of ruined it for me with very direct inspirational quotes that sound cheesy, no subtlety at all, it was as direct as a car crash. Then, how depression was handled and how the ending turned out didn't really seem convincing to me. I would've preferred if she learned how to accept her life, despite the suffering, and then work on fighting her depression. Instead, it seemed that her original life just suddenly became good and she became happy, with no progress, struggle, or recovery, or acknowledging that, in the real world, it definitely isn't like that. The book had its charming moments though and I did like Nora as a character, but I just think it could've been so much more.

Thank you for watching! I reviewed this book some time back now. I do believe on later reflection that the ending did have the feeling as if everything was suddenly okay and right, when in reality that isn't often how things work. Your talk of acceptance is likely a more realistic close. This book certainly could have had more depth to it but I think it wanted to appeal to a very mainstream audience. I'm sure is it has inspired a lot of people. It is written without mass complexity and I'm okay with that, however I can see how that may be off putting to some.
