Bet you can't eat just one. These typically English pocket sized snacks have been taken up a notch by subbing the pork for beef then adding in some smoked bacon and mature cheddar.
That's like a Bacon, Onion, cheese burger dog in a blanket! If it's seasoned sausage it's more like a meatloaf roll, which would be good, but most Americans would just make patties with that and fry or grill them. You might want to try it if I could get puff pastry I would make a meat pie or pasty but my homemade pastry crust was dry without much flavor.
I like the sound of turning it into a pie, think I might just have to have a go at that one. For me it's easier to buy ready made pastry rather than make it. Now I'm thinking would be banging with mash and onion gravy.
