I also love the visual of the little regionals in front of the big United plane on the taxiway. I would suspect that the front regional is a CRJ due to the engines being aft (maybe a 700-900?), but I could be wrong. The even smaller one behind it might be a smaller regional (it appears smaller than even a CRJ-200) or private/contract commuter? It's not clear enough to count the number of windows on the big United plane at the back of the line, but B737/A320 would be my guess.
@v1spotter
@v1spotter 2 года назад
Yeah it’s always cool to see the line up of planes awaiting departure. The first is a CRJ-700 (as you mentioned), the second is a challenger 605/605 (I think), and the third is a 777-200

Why don't the engines have those little spinner things in them?
@v1spotter
@v1spotter 2 года назад
I was initially curious about this as well. Some GEnx engine spinner cones don’t have the spiral on them for whatever reason, maybe weight savings? I saw the same thing with a few of the Dreamliners as well - however I believe most GEnx equipped aircraft have the spiral painted on the engine spinner now a days. The ones in this video are also tan as opposed to black, I assume due to the fact that the paint has worn off a bit.
