Part 1: Taking the Mighty Tri to get ADSB upgrades at Blue Sky Aviation for the Oshkosh Adventure Trip #TriPacer, #PA22, #Piper, #Shortwings, #Airplanes
As a Cessna guy, I am dumbfounded as to what that ceiling window crank handle is used for. Does the plane fly so slow one can roll down the windshield? Kidding of course! I am curious though!
@@flywiseman Thank you very much for the info. Very much appreciated. I must say, easier to get to as opposed to the trim wheel on the floor style. Very cool!
Anton, the 135 is a bit light on power if you have high density altitude. Two adults and to children are fine if the adults are smaller then you would be fine. Long runways and slow climb will be expected. I'm usually forward of the CG envelope with me, Nancy and full of fuel and we have about #200lbs to spare. I recently did an upgrade and reduced the plane weight by 13lbs but that isn't much. As long as you understand the loading and capabilities you will be fine. I have modified wing tips that help. Thanks for the question and good luck. Would like to see photos. Thanks again
