absolutely love this series. I thought that the second book was even better than the first. I felt like that this story was more focused on the relationships, which by the way, I never thought of the connection with Beauty and the Beast. This book was spectacular. In a very different way than the first one, but still. I was beyond shocked at the end with that Jaxon reveal, but I think that either it was Nashira who told him he had a gift that he was a binder (which he mentions at some point) or more likely, he was the traitor that blew the whistle on the last revolution in Sheol (And that's why Nashira calls him an old ally). Did that not happen twenty years ago? Pity, either way, because I really, really liked Jaxon.
i really loved the mime order i loved the world building and history of the characters, i do agree that the bone season was better but i still gave it 5 stars, i love the amount of information we get in each book, i feel like it gives a brilliant depth to the characters and the world :D i was also waiting for warden to come back! haha :D beauty in the beast was my favorite princess movie so i quite like that reference, i was so surprised by the ending i couldn't even guess what was happening! DX i'm not looking forward to the wait for the next books :'(
