Psi Ops is such an underrated gem! I played it years later and absolutely enjoyed it. Fun Fact: the devs of Mortal Kombat also helped work on this game, and the creator of Mortal Kombat, Ed Boon, provided voice work on the game. You can also unlock a Scorpion skin for Nick in the game. I wish the game got a sequel
When I see Evan on my screen I always say "Hey, it's that Evan guy!" Then I proceed to have a good chuckle, maybe a laugh even. One thing is for certain though. I am enjoying and tapping my fingertips together like I'm plotting some devilish scheme.
How does this channel not have like a million subs, I swear the dry humor is just right, like a biscuit from Popeyes but a large sweet tea to wash it down with.
I low key love how Barret has a completely different haircut during every single flashback but otherwise they don't look like that much time has passed in between them. It's so goofy, I love it. I really badly wanted to play this game and Second Sight when I was a kid but never got around to it for one reason or another, might have to check them out now, they still look really fun.
Barret kinda looks similar to Kingpin because of his big size and well dressed suit. I'm digging this telekinetic type games like Second Sight and Timesplitters. Great video as always, king and looking forward to your next nostalgic game.💜

I remember playing this game back when it came out. I just couldnt remember if I actually beat it. Going back through it with you though brought back memories of the various areas and abilities though so I think I did xD
The Zeno Clash games had some fun ragdolling in their animations too. (first-person brawlers in an absurd prehistoric monster world). Can very strongly and warmly recommend the prequel Clash: Artifacts of Chaos which came out last year. Different perspective and gameplay this time is a bit more in the vein of God Hand, but still good beat-em-up with a fair bit of depth.
I remember I rented this and Second Sight from Hollywood Video, (the southwest PA version of Blockbuster,) and I telekinesised one guy and his head got caught in the ceiling! That’s all I remember about these two! 😂

I put so many hours into this as a lad! Shit, the new G-Unit album had just come out and I was chucking people into each other with telekinesis. I used to make the game freeze by throwing a canonball into those floating lobster things. Great upload!
Well thats a whole memory lane. The things I remember most about this game are always the odd running animation, the unique and super jank yet hilarious co-op, and the fact that in gameplay Nick is holding all his firearms with his right hand BUT THE CUTSCENES CLEARLY SHOW HIM AS A LEFTY!!! *cough* Also there was a pretty good music video that came on the disk.
Fun fact: you can unlock a Barrett skin when you beat the game on a certain difficulty and if you go back to his boss fight, you can actually use telekinesis on the train cars.

20 years I have been waiting for a sequel. Not like for obvious reasons. But the mystery around the "conspiracy" and the corrupt groups and the whole psychics and alien machine just send my mind thinking the possibilities. Talk about a franchise with limitless potential. Fantastic game. It's one of my all-time favourites even if it ends with a mighty cliffhanger. Would love to pick up where it left off and continue into the psychic fray.

Found your channel through your timesplitters future perfect video awhile ago, was binging a few of your older videos when I forgot I hadn't watched this one yet. I have a lot of fond memories playing the demo for this off the ol OXM demo discs for xbox back then and I remember renting it from blockbuster and beating it over the weekend, good times and a real shame we never got the ending to this, I remember reading that midway cancelled the sequel back then because the first one bombed sales wise. shame.

I remember playing a demo disc with this and Riddick Escape from Butcher Bay. That was one of the best demo discs I ever played. Spent so much time chucking dudes around with TK. Bought both games shortly after that.

Oh I've played this game a lot when I was young. IIRC when you're mind controlling someone, if you press and hold R3+L3 you can make them off themselves

When using Mind Control, there’s a hidden input that makes your victim blow his own head off with his gun. I think you have to click and hold both analog sticks.
You ever played Geist? It keeps being like a fever dream for me because it felt so random of a game at the time. Definitely odd childhood remembering. Definitely check it out though!
I thought I was going crazy when I thought I heard a Time Splitters sound clip but then the sound burning lady that played over the burning lady confirmed it. That and the theme song later on in the vid xD
