I was just about to design and build my own when this released! Noticed you have a speed square, I was able to use it for the 65 degree angles. There’s videos out there on how to use it.
Hey Jake. When I watched your videos first, I just wanted to see your hatching videos and your emus. But as time went I just began to love everything you posted. I just keep falling in love with your family, your life and your work! Everything you do inspires me so much, and you basically make my days. Keep up the awesome work
I love watching your is so relaxing Reminds me of back home when I was growing up I wish I had a little farm but I live in the city of Buffalo maybe you guys can make Some for sale and a lot of people would love it thanks for always sharing your ideas and your family. God blessed
I was so excited to see this video. I had been telling one of my friends who recently got chickens about your channel and how you do helpful videos on how to make things for your birds... She was needing EXACTLY something like this for her new babies... And here you are posting the perfect video! I've linked it to her, and I really think it will help her out! So, thank you so much for posting these great tutorials! I dont have any farm animals of any kind, but it was still super helpful :D
Thank you, I live in the city and need a small coop to hide behind my fence for a few chicks.. (HOA) I have watch many videos on youtube with these great coops but not for city folks with small/medium backyard.. this size is great and I can move around to different lawn area.. The list is the best part as I am not a builder, however with the list I was able to google picture of everythinig I need before going to Lowes...AWESOME..... now I can see what I am looking for before I get to lowes... my husband has some tool but is not a builder not even my neighbors but I will find someone to do the things I cannot do.. I will be watching this video over and over again as I am a visual learner.... THANK YOU SO MUCH
All my chickens we just killed over a two week span. Something digging up in my barn, hopefully watching your videos will help me create something new before I replenish with new babies 😢 love your family videos! MAJOR INSPIRATION 🌻🌻
i am soooo thrilled. i have been bragging on your channel and telling facebook groups (two chicken groups... but we talk turkey too. and duck. quail. if it has feathers... we're the go to groups!) about your chicken tractors. now... they can learn to build them too! thank you so much for doing this!
@@jessikajess9290 I didn't end up making them. We decided to rehome the ducks to a friend who has a couple acres about an hour south of me. One day maybe
Do you ever have trouble with predators digging into your tractors from the bottom? Love y'all's videos btw! Most wholesome thing on the internet rn. God bless your family ❤
Jami Lovett - nope, never had one try. These are heavy enough that they would have to dig a pretty big hole to get under by the morning. We keep most of them inside electric fencing.
Huge fan since y'all were back at the begginings of the old White House. Love how you guys grew! Can't wait to see the aviary!!! Keep it up! Much love!
I’ve been cutting metal roofing with my circular saw. Just use a regular wood circular saw blade, but install it backwards. Cuts great!! No more tin snip work :)
Honestly the one thing I love most is the peacock noises. I adore them- I dont know what it is about them but yes. I plan on getting a peacock someday- and a bunch of other birds too! I'm glad I found this channel!!
I'd also like to point out, by stapling the hardware cloth on the inside, a large animal can push the staples out. Would be better to staple from the outside and/or put another layer or lumber over to secure the staples. Cut 1/2" pieces of plywood would secure them screws. Maybe, an extra support board about 1/2 way down the sides to better secure that hardware cloth. I love the build and think this would make it better. Thanks
I'm so glad you decided to make a tutorial video for this! Hopefully will try and build one over the next few weeks for our chicks which should be hatching this Sunday! 🐣
Thanks so much, I cannot even begin to explain how much this has helped. Such a great design and easy to build. It is the perfect solution to housing our 8 Ross Cobb meat birds here in England!
Love this! We have a large coop and a small mobile coop for raising chicks in. But I’m constantly telling people they should get a few chickens and they always say I don’t have a coop and I don’t know how to build one. I’ll be sharing this with friends and family. Thank you as always for the great content
Thank y'all so much!! I too am so excited. Will send you pics probably not to soon though doing a little here and there!! You guys are the best!! Fastest tin snips I ever seen!! Maybe Jake can come to Texas and give us a demonstration!!! lol Thanks again
I'll never build a chicken tractor but honestly I watch whatever you guys post. I'll watch y'all eat a bowl of cereal for all I care. I just love y'all!💙 I need MORE ISAIAH CAM! He's too cute with his little self. 😂❤
I just love the look and ease of build for this coop! Awesome job and thanks so much for sharing your hard work! Shalom and Blessings from NE Missouri.
This is really awesome, thank you for the step by step. We have one rooster being a meanie to the rest of our flock and we need something to separate him, this should work very well. I am having an issue finding the plans though, the download link just brings me back to this video.
I can’t seem to find the download link when going to the link, it just brings me back to the RU-vid video! Also once I find the plans I’ll definitely be using this for my future chickens and quails!
Man my girlfriend watches you guys all the time, like if I don't hear my game I hear a video from you all, i have learned a lot watching you guys lol. Keep up the good work-a chicken owner from Florida 🐣🐥🐤🐔
That is a wonderful build, great instructions! Because we are older and have arthritic joints, could you PLEASE do an instructional on your larger coops? The ones next to the new mini-coop for Slater?
