THE MINTEST ORIGINAL 1987 HONDA CR80 2 STROKE LEFT ON THE PLANET? 

Had the same bike as a kid. Loved that bike my buddy had a xr200 my 87 cr80 I got in 1988 would smoke him, he'd get so pissed because he thought 200cc would be faster then a 80cc. His dad had a new ridden a couple times 1985 cr500 we would jump start it took 2 of us sitting on it rolling down hill 5th gear to start it. I was 12 and would rip around that 1985 cr500! Good memories.

I had an 84 RM 80 bought new in 1985. This bike sounds identical to my old RM. Just hearing it brought back a flash of great memories of screaming down back roads and trails in the mid 80s. Long live the 2 stroke!!

Whenever i saw a kid riding one of these growing up i knew who i was hanging out with for the day lol. So cool.

My neighbour had one of these back in the day , and for 80cc's it was a fast little bike !!! Brings back some good memories ~ !!

I still LOVE these! late 40's now but cut my teeth on 2stroke 80's when I was 12 and beyond. Nothing will ever thrill like riding these rockets as a 90 lb kid. Awesome. God Bless America !

I remember when my cousin got one of these brand new in 1987. These things are rockets. I remember my step dad taking it for a spin and being blown away by the power. I had to make do with my ‘85 CR80.

I had that same bike when I was 9 this local 16 yr old kid bought it new rode it one time and broke his leg and was terrified the thing had four scratches on the sticker on the rear fender and was spotless my uncle bought it for me for 1000 bucks this was in 88 idk how much they were new but I do know the last one u had the last I saw the bidding it was at 3500 or something crazy for an 87 cr 80 but if u want a time capsule sometimes u have to pay thank u once again for ripping that little thing around seeing that bike brings back so many good memories it’s crazy that was the bike I started racing on and being 9 yrs old yea I was the shit and everyone knew it! Lol

A bike like that broke my heart as a kid . I sat on it at a car dealer when pops was getting a car . I think id still have to get one to fix that . :-)

Nothin like 80cc of horsetorqies. I burned through several yz80's. When I was a kid. Ran all over Indiana,Kentucky and, Tennessee. So much fun

Honda really came out with a great 80cc engine in '86. That is a very fast lil bike.

I had a brand new 1990 cr 80. They were completely the same from 86-92. Great bike for your first bike😊

I used to ride motocross on this exactly machine when i was around 10-13 years old. We smoked many guys on 125 and 250's. These were insanely fast if you knew how to ride them. Loved that machine

some of the most fun i had on a 80 they dont stop for nothing you just pin the throttle and go the 80 i had kept with a KDX 250

The vintage Honda 2 strokes are by far the best looking vintage bikes.

hey kaplan i am a huge fan of the channel and i have a 1987 cr80 that ive had for about 5 month now and after spending 1200 on it i got to ride it for about 30 minutes and then it blows up the it needs bottom end but its not locked up shell still turn over and i be honored if i could sell this bike to yall

No 80 has the top end pull of the 86+ CRs. Nothing down low at all but on the pipe they are a blast
