Update: If you toggle corpse removal on, the loot does not disappear--it appears in a chest by the second gate. The voice on the radio is not from the mod. That was just me, flexing my super slick editing skillz0rz. The minutemen actuallly do appear in 4 different places outside Nuka World before charging (I must have missed them). And yes, the raiders do turn on each other once you assassinate a raider boss. Yes, there is a Brotherhood option--see the end of the video.
Better plan: Brotherhood versus Institute AND Nuka World When the BoS is done wrapping up the gangs, they can have fun at the park and Liberty Prime can finally have a Nuka-Cola of his own (by grabbing the big model from the top of Fizztop mountain).
I like to imagine an all out invasion by the minutemen and in the middle of it all Preston runs through the gun fire just to tell you "Another settlement needs your help I'll mark it on your map."
Sole survivor: Preston , I've got a word from an amusement park that needs our help, I'll mark it on your map Preston: *inhales* FOR THE COMMONWEALTH !!!
"It was suicide mission. Us against the raiders. We were all dead for sure. We heard gunshots. Our captain ordered us in. We barely made it ten feet in before sasha was down. Richard dragged her to safety.we noticed the was a lot less raiders than we expected. We saw a faction missing. Pleasure from the general. We fought hard. We came to a stopping point at a choke, we were dead for sure. Then the general came. I never knew how good of a shot she was. We pushed our way through. Stood toe to toe with the biggest raiders. Richard managed to make it back. He shot killed a raider that was pointing her gun at the general. When all was done, we met up. Sasha will make it, but she won't walk again. We are being assigned here until further notice. Fine by me."
We got world from the general . He told use about Nuka world so we went.. if I knew what would happen I would of not gone .the ...the fucking general sent use to our death when it was me and Preston we looked up to see the general but he .... He shot Preston..and took me as a prisoner...if anyone for the minutemen are seeing this the general is a traitor he hates use .
Finally! a Minuteman mod that show's you, "The Player" are indeed their leader and that you're in-charge. I mean Seriously I'm the General, so wheres my active army?
@@maxandresmusecl5158 I mean you can convince the minutemen in the institute main quest to stand down, if you successfully convinced, you'll get X6-88 Affinity points.
@ you do collect taxes on shops within your settlements. I do wish you could more directly recruit minutemen soldiers. If only you could have hourmen in power armor.
@@MrKaiyooo I mod my game that now my minutemen are using assault rifle and combat armor and are even equipped with anti air missile launchers, Tanks, APC, and vertibird without destroying the brotherhood.
When you say this you also have to realize that mirelurks dont have guns as well as called in minute men dont level with the character as well as the raiders and other main antagonists in the game, meaning 1 of the raiders in nukaworld with you at lvl 100 will be about as strong as 5 ish minute men with you at lvl 100 if not more minute men. He said he was using a mod with the mod he is show casing that is probably why the minute men was using a minigun and power armor since in the base game the only way for them to do that is by the player telling them to enter power armor remotely.
Preston:*about to die* C-can you promise me o-one thing o-old buddy? Sole survivor:sure Preston...what is it? Preston: *Another settlement needs your help*
For me, it’s the enclave. Enclave: Delivery for the nuka world raiders. Raiders: what did we order again? Enclave: One Tub of President Eden Surprise Ice Cream… Raiders: Huh? Enclave: REMEMBER EDEN! [Paranoid starts playing]
why wasn't this never an option for the vanilla? They should have made an option to invade Nuka World with the Minutemen, the Brotherhood of Steel, or the Institute. when I see a great mod that improves the game play or the story, I'm like, "why didn't Bethesda think of this?"
Even the Railroad would have a reason to step in. After all, raiders aren't exactly known for treating synths much better than humans, and if they had taken over the Commenwealth they would have enslaved both synths and humans alike.
So....how long until your voice is officially apart of the mod? Because not going to lie, if I heard a radio operator like that responding to my orders, well....I certainly would feel much more like a General 👍
@@ecasey91 You also get to do the whole Nuka-World questline for raiders without even knowing the Minutemen exist - that way you don't have Preston wanting to kill you, only downside is is that you _still_ need to liberate the settlements, so all the raiders would need to die, which means nothing especially if you already beat the Nuka-World questline.
Holy Sh*t thank you oxhorn for reviewing my mod! Wasnt expecting this :) PS: You can actually find the minutemen hiding in 4 different spots near nuka town
Just finished watching the video. I just realized that theres a lot that I've missed, like how it doesnt work after you already finished power play, I wasnt aware of that because the save I'm using while testing the mod is right after getting out of the gauntlet. Thanks for testing the mod for me, I'll try to fix them next time :) And for the crashing, I also have the same issue whenever I try to record my gameplay with the mod. When I'm just testing it without any other apps opened, everything runs smoothly but once I start recording(with shadowplay or playstv), my game crashes 95% of the time even if I put the game at very low graphics.
When you use the flare gun in unmodded fallout 4, I like to imagine that the reason why the minutemen don't respond, is because they are stuck at the Gauntlet in the transit station. LOL
“God dam it! How the f*ck did our general get through this!?” -a randomly modded minuteman who’s in power amour holding a fusion mini gun while with a combat medic
Nuka-world: people's head exploding from guass rifles, littered with bullets every where, people's body's being full of bullets. Radio: *violin and piano playing peaceful Melody's*
i think the "killing a raider boss will surely make the other raiders turn on each other, right?" is a joke about how during the dialog tree where Mackenzie gives you the quest she says it'll make the raiders turn on eachother but doesn't work out like that in game
I meant to remove that before I release the mod, but I forgot lol. I just quickly wrote that message to tell me that the scripts are running correctly.
Modders finish what Bethesda didn't What a real shame that Bethesda doesn't make these mods $5 dlc's instead of creation club stuff and 90% of the funds go to the mod creators
Porter Gage never turned hostile when I killed the raider leaders. He just left my company and went back to the Boss's player home and sandboxed for the rest of my playthrough. The fact that he didn't speak to me AT ALL tells me its either a bug or he's just very upset with me.
My god, a brotherhood of steel invasion of nuka world... I can barely imagine it. Maybe a vert-bird assault Vietnam style? It would make sense lore wise, the BOS would search for the advanced weapons developed by bradberton, so they would arm an expeditionary Corp to take over the main park. It’s a lot to ask, but someone make this please.
Yeah maxson would ride the leading vertibird in his power armour and they would kick the ever loving shit out the raiders but he would notice siera and ask her what she was doing there and she'd go on about the stupid cappy mission (bullshit trash ) but she'd mention weapons and then maxson would bust the hidden bookcase door open and would bust the vault open and get the weapons
You have no idea how satisfying it is to have this good ending especially with minutemen!! This mod makes Minutemen feel like they have a "Final Battle" against the raiders that they've been having trouble dealing with all game.
The “Killing a gang leader will surely put the other fangs into chaos and kill each other amarite” prompt was probably poking fun at the assumptions Mackenzie makes if you get the Open Season mission from her.
When I killed the Raiders, I just started tossing Synth Relay Grenades everywhere. I also have a mod that puts Institute weapons on par with Plasma weapons, and I was playing on Very Hard, so it was quite a battle.
A better battle would be installing Ultimate Apocalypse and using the grenade that spawns a deathclaw, but instead when it dies it spawns in 2 more and it keeps multiplying.
So much potential for the vanilla game - after watching this, in my opinion Bethesda wasted a lot of ways to end open season. Imagine to be the director of the institute and have the option to replace some of the bosses or certain characters in Nuka-World with your synth-minions. °_°
Sorania Jericho well I used my modded synth grenades to help me liberate nukaworld after hearing Gage's plan to invade the Commonwealth, raiders are a hindrance to institute operations as it is, and I am not about to let more into my territory.
I thought about how cool it would be if the Sole Survivor could pull a Robert House on Nuka World and restore it to its Prewar Condition, allowing the public to ride the rides (the ones that work) for a set amount of caps. The traders could be store clerks, a lot of economic opportunity and I bet the Common Wealth would love the opportunity to have some fun in this irradiated wasteland.
Mamba The pre-war gov’ had dark intentions in the Fallout universe - it’s the whole reason to why the BoS exists. Countries as we know it, stopped existing in 2077. Fallout, like Skyrim, has factions instead of countries. I hope you don’t take my comment as offensive, i realize it can be interpreted like so.
Dude, you totally threw me when you did the radio thing. I thought for sure the mod had included a voice for the dialouge before I picked up your disticnt accent.
I actually listened to it twice to assure it is Ox and not someone with a very similar voice. If he only did it for this very video they should totally get in touch to put it into the mod proper.
"Introducing... Fallout 5! It's been 5,000 years since the bombs fell! Everything is still fucked, everyone is somehow using the same weapons and theres still debris everywhere. And the game is broken, still using the creation engine and we are gonna rely on modders to fix broken shit."
I got emotional with this video because this, Nuka World DLC and its unique armor pieces was the reason I saw this Oxhorn channel. Ox did a comparison video back then, maybe best armor comparison video for Fallout, and I think to myself that wow that channel deserves more subs, I subscribed. Wow, well deserved from that time to recent.
heck he could voice a minuteman replace to one of the raider characters here in this mod yaknow, like be the sergeant in charge of nukaworld after you take it and he can give repeating quests to hunt down stragglers.
I really hope you can mix this with the second battle for quincy creation from the creation club, so that the power armor units have the minuteman armored cavalry paintjob on their suits of power armor.
Sticking with the raiders, I personally wanted to see an option to take Diamond City in a massive raid, and tie in Mayor McDonnough's synth reveal as a turning point for the people's support.
Mindy Auron paradox interactive is a company which basicly has a monopoly on grand strategy games. They release DLC's every 4 or so months, and an free update along the DLC. Their DLC policy is largely critisized because the base game becomes dull.
You are a true gaming inspiration, the way you role play and enjoy the game; sorry to be repetitive but it’s truly inspiring. I enjoy every single one of your Fallout videos. Thanks for the entertainment Vic
This mod is such a great idea, it let's you truly show off all that time and effort you put into the Minutemen by taking down the biggest raider threat. LIBERTY!
You're right, it makes perfect sense. When the raiders ask you to take settlements, you should be able to go tell preston garvey, and that should have started a minutemen quest. After all, the minutemen restored, they should want to and free nuka world.
A very important feature of the Takeover mod that you forgot to mention: Quoted from the main mod page: "Obviously you can't loot them once they disappear, but to remedy this, I added a "War Chest" just right behind the second gate(In front of the Cappy's Cafe and below the scaffolding). Each time a gang member or a minuteman dies, their inventory will be transferred to the War Chest before they disappear. Make sure to loot that after the battle :)"
If you are really the mod maker then I may have a solution to the lag problem instead of all the npcs spawning in all at once why not have both the raiders and Minutemen spawn in waves with all of the npcs spawning in at once still optional similar to the city siege missions in skyrim and once a raider boss dies that raider faction no longer spawns and the more you push into the park the more spawn areas you take until all of the park is under your control of course raiders will always spawn from there gangs base until you enter and take it out I think this would make this already amazing mod 5X better
Man, as a good guy player, I'd love this on Xbox. There's not a chance in hell the XBO could handle even the smallest battle parameters, but maybe there could be an option of 'move in once the park is secure' or something. Like spawn the minutemen AFTER you complete open season. That'd re-liven the park and avoid the definite console crashing battle.
Ive had an uber modded 300 npc battle with the danger zone mod on xbox one, only started to struggle at the second spawning of 300 gunners bacause of the furst 300 dead bodies
Oxhorn, this is incredible! I'm only 2:21 in and you got me hooked! I have so many thoughts and ideas spinning through my head right now! What if... * You could kill Elder Maxon and take his place as Grand Elder of the Brotherhood of Steel and finally get them to pull their heads out of their (ehem) and join up with the Minutemen and Railroad with the only altercations being caused by you the player sense you control 2/3 factions and are greatly admired in the third. * Increase the number of Raiders in NukaWorld, give them a reasonable respawn rate (which you could toggle on or off at your leisure) * (by choice) Have Preston Garvy lead the Minutemen assault, Paladin Danse lead the B.O.S assault and Decon leading the Railroad! (this way it just makes sense that MM, BOS and RR aren't just going off on a killing spree) (Possibly add in Hancock leading a bunch of Goodneighbor Triggermen and a bunch of ghouls from the Slog and even Edward from Cabot House, Ada leading a bunch of Protectrons, Mr. Gutsy', a few Assaultrons and occasional Sentrybots but they had to be ones you made, Strong with a bunch of Mutant Hounds, Pickman would show up on rare occasions. this still leaves you Dogmeat, Longfellow, Cait, McCreaddy and I'm kinda spent on brain power now but you get the idea) It's probably unhealthy how bad I want this...
Nah, Sarah Lyons is elder in my game, courtesy of project Valkyrie. And you forgot the coolest grooviest faction, atom cats baby! let's go wipe some raiders!
Actually something that was supposed to be in the game but they ended up not finishing it and making it where once you decide to not kill Paladin Danse after finding out that he was a synth you were able to actually go and challenge Elder Maxson for control of the Brotherhood Of Steel but it wasn't fully finished and the only reason we know that it was supposed to be a thing was because there was leftover files in the game of speech that was supposed to be put towards that alternate ending to the quest of killing Danse or not.
Oh man I hope the author makes Brotherhood ver... "The mod author released a version that allow the Brotherhood of Steel to take over the park." AD VICTORIAM!!!
Elwood288 I can picture it... Troops storming the gate, vertibirds soaring overhead as knights jump out, all hell breaking loose as the raiders realize how hard they fucked up
I used this with a mod that turns the Minutemen into the Enclave. Oh my goodness seeing all the Enclave troopers in their black combat armour the officers with them and all X-01, X-02 and Hellfire power armour backing them up. And I used a mod that allows vertibird backup so an Enclave painted vertibird gives air support the raiders met a wall of laser, plasma, plasma grenades and napalm from Creation Club incinerators. All with Enclave radio blazing. This battle was over very quickly. The number of goo piles was insane!!!
I really don't understand why Bethesda didn't have this as an option like a choice of you were going to wipe out the raiders there would be a quest where you can take a whole platoon of minutemen to help you. This is a great mod. I really hope obsidian does the next fallout because they left a lot out and made the game so hollow for me.
Cristian Magdaleno For the same reason they left so many other things unfinished and unexplored. Why spend your time & resources to build it when modders can do the heavy lifting using your tools?
Incompetent writers... understatement of the entire Fallout franchise. And as for 'hollow'? Whenever I say 'Fallout 4' I can hear an echo about 7 times! As much as I 'sort of' enjoyed 'building camps' in FO4, the story and the dreadful DLCs, in general, is shamefully low quality in story content and replayability. Most people are replaying FO3 and FONV after finishing the WORST EVER fallout [4] EVER rather than replay 'it'. FO4 is kinda like a Meninblack 2... a shameful cash-grab follow-on. It might as well be FO3 with the shockingly poor writing but wo the superb DLCs. It's so bad they might just sell on the franchise to new and fresh developers who can actually WRITE stories and create interesting characters wo relying on Modders to carry their lame asses!
Cristian Magdaleno the reason is because Nuka-World was supposed to be completely centered around raiders and if they included this then all of the work they put in to the raiders would go to waste
