We have heard God's name is YHWH, known as the tetragrammaton and some have heard it means "Behold the Hand, Behold the Nail" But does it have more to tell us?

Hello Friends! I want to make it clear that this video is not about the pronunciation of HIS name. It is about the shapes of the paleo Hebrew letters in His name. So fighting over if it is a "W" or "V" sound is not the purpose here. Shalom!

I agree friend, but I do want to add if it was a "W" then king David would be King.....Daweed" and God wouldn't name him after a weed hence his Hebrew name is Daveed!

The yod in Hebrew doesn't just mean hand, it also means (sole of the foot) or foot. So the actual translation should be; behold the hands and feet, behold the nails.

Fascinatingly beautiful. No one can come to the Son unless the Father send him; right to left: The Hand see the Nail see. And no one can know the Father unless the Son reveal Him; left to right: See the Nail see the Hand. Jesus told me how to say the name it's Yahweh and he confirmed it to me with this scripture: John 17:25-26 O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me. And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.

To me God's Name is Holy. God is our Father. When asked how to pray, Jesus responded with the Lord's prayer. It starts out, "Our Father in heaven Hallow be Thy Name " If God wanted us to call Him by His Name He wouldn't have given the tetragram. The Name above all names is Jesus Christ our Lord and God. We worship our Father in Jesus Name.

@@ariloves10 Amen, His name is Holy and He is our Father through Jesus Christ, HalleluYAH! It's your own understanding you're using to assume He does not want us to use His name. Why would Jesus declare His name to us if He didn't want us to use it? Jesus came in His name. Jesus His Word made flesh means Yah saves. Jesus says, And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are. While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled. John 17:11-12 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:5-6 It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter. Proverbs 25:2 Scripture also says, Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name JAH, and rejoice before him. Psalm 68:4 I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name. Psalm 138:2 Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name. Malachi 3:16 Now therefore, what have I here, saith the LORD, that my people is taken away for nought? they that rule over them make them to howl, saith the LORD; and my name continually every day is blasphemed. Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am he that doth speak: behold, it is I. Isaiah 52:5-6 LORD, thou wilt ordain peace for us: for thou also hast wrought all our works in us. O LORD our God, other lords beside thee have had dominion over us: but by thee only will we make mention of thy name. Isaiah 26:12-13 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Matthew 28:19 Simeon hath declared how God at the first did visit the Gentiles, to take out of them a people for his name. And to this agree the words of the prophets; as it is written, After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up: That the residue of men might seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles, upon whom my name is called, saith the Lord, who doeth all these things. Known unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world. Acts 15:14-18 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, Ephesians 3:14-15 Scripture shows that knowing and using His name Yahweh is important to Him.

COMMON ORIGIN What is YHWH; and what is ELOHIM? Since the Jews did not articulate the word YHWH for centuries, and since even the Chief Rabbis would not allow the ineffable to be heard, they have forfeited the right to claim dogmatically how the word is to be sounded. We have to seek the aid of the Arab to revive Hebrew, a language which had once died out. In every linguistic difficulty recourse has to be made to Arabic, a sister language, which has remained alive and viable. Racially and linguistically, the Arabs and the Jews have a common origin, going back to Father Abraham. Note the startling resemblance between the languages, very often the same sounding words carry identical meaning in both. HEBREW ; ARABIC ; ENGLISH Elah ; Ilah ; god Ikhud ; Ahud ; one Yaum ; Yaum ; day Shaloam ; Salaam ; peace Yahuwa ; Ya Huwa ; oh he YHWH or Yehova or Yahuwa all mean the very same thing. "Ya" is a vocative and an exclamatory particle in both Hebrew and Arabic, meaning Oh! And "Huwa" or "Hu" means He, again in both Hebrew and Arabic. Together they mean Oh He! So instead of YHWH ELOHIM, we now have Oh He! ELOHIM. The suffix "IM" of the word "ELOHIM" is a plural of respect in Hebrew. (Remember that in Arabic and Hebrew there are two types of plurals. One of numbers and the other of honor as in Royal proclamations. Since the plural of honor is uncommon in the language of the European, he has confused these plurals to connote a plurality in the "godhead," hence his justification for his Doctrine of the Holy Trinity - the Father, Son and Holy Ghost). Hence ELOHIM = ELOH + IM. Now I want you to perform an exercise. Do you see the words: YA-HUWA ELOH-IM? Place your left hand index finger on the first two letters "YA" meaning oh! and the other index finger on the "IM" a plural of respect. What you now have remaining in Huwa Eloh or Huwa Elah. El in Hebrew means god, and Elah or Eloh also stands for the same name - god. Therefore, "Huwa el Elah" or HUWA 'L LAH, which is identical to the Quranic expression - Huwal lah hu (meaning: HE IS ALLAH) of the verse QUL HUWAL LAH HU AHUD Say: He is Allah the One and Only; (Holy Quran 112:1)

I research ancient Hebrew and its relationship to modern English. No wonder the paleo Hebrew resembles our western "alephbet". You are correct in piecing together the meanings of the letters to get the literal meaning of YHWH. The lexicon definitions do not convey the meaning correctly at all. It is not the translator's fault. They did not know the letters had meanings. I am thinking Moses and the Egyptians had to know. Now that I know this, I understand why the name of Abram was changed to Abraham and Sarai to Sarah. The Book of Jasher has Joseph being called Jehoseph by an angel of YHWH. That makes sense too now. The name of our Lord "Yeshua" has a literal meaning that describes the Gospel message perfectly. I should say, I am going by a more generalized meaning for each letter than what is on the chart you are using. I have found the meanings on the chart belong to a more general concept conveyed by each glyph. No matter how we look into to this naming convention, it is like looking into eternity. Overwhelmingly satisfying.

The name Yeshua is actually Aramaic. Jesus' name in Hebrew is Yehusha which means Yehuah saves/will save. The word Yeshuah in Hebrew means salvation.

@@DyivuLee I've seen a reference to the topic of Aramaic in the Cave of Treasures. "They all spake this language, that is to say, SÛRYÂYÂ (Syrian), which is ÂRÂMÂYÂ (Aramean), and this language is the king of all languages. Now, ancient writers have erred in that they said that Hebrew was the first [language],". Whatever version was taught by Noah, Semitic dialects clearly developed. Abraham learned directly from Noah as did Jacob according to the Book of Jasher. Whatever dialects developed in the house of Israel and the diaspora became dominant and so it is with English. I have looked at the literal meaning of Hebrew letters in Yeshua and noticed the honor emphasized in the name Yehoshua. I find it interesting that Yitzhak Kaduri used the name Yehoshua to identify the messiah. I think most Christians would agree.

All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it." ~ John 1:1-5 "If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved." ~ Romans 10:9-10 For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.” ~ Romans 10:13 "In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory." ~ Ephesians 1:13-14 "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast." ~ Ephesians 2:8-9 "He saved us, not by the righteous deeds we had done, but according to His mercy, through the washing of new birth and renewal by the Holy Spirit." ~ Titus 3:5 "I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. Yep as an Israeli Hebrew speaking person, the yhwh is a mirror to יהוה which in English is jehovah as English speakers say. And it is said that in the Bible Abram, which is generally the other non Jewish name he had before his meeting woth God and he granted abram with an h or ה to make it Abraham, and Sarai as sarah to give a piece of himself/ his blessings. My name is Michael and "el" means God in Hebrew so everyone with el in their name also has (on paper at least) the blessings of God. Also jehovah is not allowed to be said yknow all the "don't say the lord name in vain" is referring to that, to yhwh יהוה. Which is why God is also elohim or elokim. Great video, very interesting thank you!😊

I believe the Messiah's name to be Yahusha. With both names having the same "Yah" in the names. And Yah is a shortened version of Yahuah. Can't remember actual verse off hand but there is a prophecy of My Name(God/Yahuah) will be in his name (The Messiah's name) and this sure seems to fit!.

1:30 the English words listed to describe "Yod" can be summarized as "Yield". It is no accident that the word "yield" starts with the same sound that "Yod" makes and that the letter "Y" looks like the ancient "Yod". The Latin alphabet is based on the ancient Hebrew. 1:52 The English words listed to describe "Hey" can be summarized as "Honor". "Hey" was used for "E" and "H". English words like "homage", "holy", "hour" and of course "honor". (the word "the" is a contraction of "et ha" like we read in the creation passages) With those two letters we have the short version of or maker's memorial name for all eternity. YH - "Yielder of Honor". I assure you that is the core of His being. There's more but I'll stop here for now.

@Ashmo613 2 года назад
It is not a separate letter in modern Hebrew, but the sound can still be made if you are pronouncing words from another language. All languages change over time. The vav of today was waw in ancient Hebrew, meaning David is really pronounced Daweed. Yemenite Jews have kept a lot of the old pronunciation. The way that you indicate the w sound in modern Hebrew is to put two vavs together, basically the same sound pattern and method as making the letter v as opposed to w.

It's interesting that you put a "W" in the spelling of God's name.. and your illustration shows a "V" ..there are no W's in the Hebrew alphabet...it's spelled "YHVH" as your illustration indicates, and the etymology of it is. These Hebrew roots cultists sure are trying anything they can to deny His name Read what Jesus said to them as the church of Sardis I know that thou hast a name thou livest yet art dead!!! Jesus Christ is the only name and name above all names It's why they hate it they hate Him Just as He said they would Then read Galatians Paul is talking to the demon that puts all these thoughts in their heads And they only wanted circumcision let that sink in They were accursed or damned to hell for it too Lastly they have time to repent but because they hate Jesus that doesn't seem to likely They'll type out story's in English and refuse to write Jesus Christ it's clear what is behind them what is inspiring them and it ain't Holy

"""""""""""" Y.H.W.H """"""""""" """"""""""""" The key """""""""""" (( Hebrew and Arabic is right to left )) (read from right to left as in Arabic) Yet, Huh, Wav, Huh; or Y.H.W.H.

Hebrew is not the original language. It’s the language that the so called jews claim to use. and invented. The original language is Yahudyth. In the Yahudyth alphabet there is no E, F, I, J, O, V, and W. The so called jews alphabet don’t have a j in it, but they call themselves jews. The original word in the history book, so called bible, is a history book about only one group of people. The so called jews stole the true identity of YAHUAH THE MOST HIGH. Genesis 15:13-14, Leviticus 26:14-46, Deuteronomy 28:15-68, Jubilee 14:13-14, and Acts 7:6-7. This happened to only one group of people. The original word Yahudym was removed and replaced with the word jews. The original word tree was also removed and replaced with the word cross. The letter J is only about 400 to 500 years old. It was the last letter added to the English alphabet in the early 1600. So the letter J never existed over 5000 years ago. The word jews never existed. It’s a made up word.

I see you (causing dejection: "a blue day!"); primarily, there's no Letter W in Hebrew and the narrative you're trying to assert here is twisted. YHVH is a proper noun; the personal HOLY NAME of EL ECHEL Yisrael (the HOLY G-D of Yisrael). Bereshit (Genesis) 17:1; HASHEM appeared to Avram, and said unto him: I AM EL SHADDAI walk before ME. HE is 'EL 'ELYON ESSAIM and HE is ONE: Devarim (Deuteronomy) 6:4; HEAR, O YISRAEL: HASHEM OUR ELOKIM, HASHEM IS ONE.

@@aninojacobroger The Uau (not 'Vav') is TRANSLITERATED into English for its SOUND as a U ('oo' sound) or a W ('wa' sound). The 'v' sound belongs to the Beit as in Abib/Aviv. To pronounce YHVH in sound (Yehovah) is to claim YHBH as the Name, which is error.

@@Mark_Media You are correct to publicly honor the name revealed to Moses as the memorial-name to all generations spoken of in Exodus 3 : 15, 6 : 6 and 17 : 15. While all things were made through Jesus Christ because He is the right hand of the Father and does the Father's will, it is important to know the memorial name of the creative Source that sent Jesus Christ to fulfill His promise to Adam and Eve and all of their descendants who honor and respect what was done for Adam and Eve.
